Now being reported in the Daily Express that Harry is working on a new tell all documtary about royal life. This is according to his biographer Angela Levin. And even more disclosures about the royal family are forthcoming. Is this going to go on for years. We shall have to wait and sed. I think its very very wrong of him.

Yes! That's exactly it. I always imagine that all he really wants to do is have fun, enjoy his day, have a few laughs and gambol about a bit. Not sure that heavy politics, intense discussions and being oh-so-serious all the time were part of the plan - for him. He's got to go through with it now unless he publicly acknowledges it all, which, ironically, would allow him to grow in stature far more than anything else he has done lately.

That’s a very astute observation. I do wonder if he lies awake in the wee small hours thinking “What the fuck have I done?”

Yes, his public persona has done a full 180.

Meghan is smart, articulate, opinionated and very charismatic, it seems like he is trying to emulate her instead of being himself.

Harry now exposed to culture shock in the way that Meghan was. As he now ventures out of just talking of his "projects, plans" etc with parties invested in his success and starts to hit the first few bumps.

It will now start to become apparent to Harry (hopefully) that you can't jump into another country's culture and politics without making some serious mistakes along the way. The only way to avoid that would be to take a long time to assimilate yourself into day to day life.

It's just the reverse of M's stepping on toes in UK protocols/social mores - just Harry is now on the receiving end. It will be interesting to see if it is presented as "anti-monarchy" abuse or people just angry at him sharing any opinion other than "it's great". That's all people want to hear - if you adopt a new place as your home, you need to spend a good while understanding your new home before people take kindly to pointing out "where you're all going wrong is, and I've got a better way for you to do it"...

I’m sure the family know that Meghan and Harry celebrate their wedding anniversary three days before the 19th, as they told the world recently, so nothing to see there, I don’t think.

A third wedding anniversary isnt very important except to the couple themselves. I doubt BP is interested in playing daft games.

Yes and as they don’t seem to have particularly fond memories of their actual wedding, it’s probably for the best it’s ignored

I felt quite sad looking at my FB memories that popped up today. Photos of me and my friends having a royal wedding party celebrating in the sunshine. How much has changed in three years.

I thought BP was playing a daft game and was disappointed in it. However, as @Serenster has reminded me, today is really a nonentity to Harry and Meghan because they would have celebrated on Sunday for their real anniversary.

Yes that's what I think too Sunbathingdragon.. Their real wedding anniversary was 3 days ago so I expect they celebrated then.

Beatrice and DoY went to see HMTQ on Sunday, no doubt to tell her the good news.

I wouldn't hold your breath; he appears to be beyond that now, and the circus will likely continue while there are still those who wish to exploit him. His background just hasn't given him the skills to operate effectively among the sharks and what'll happen when they eventually lose interest is anyone's guess

I'm always surprised when folk say how "happy" he must be though. IME happy people don't behave as he's doing, neither does it seem the best route to future happiness
Still, nobody's forced him to make the choices he has; he has a tongue and can presumably say "no", so if he chooses not to he'll just have to accept the consequences

Thinking back, everyone would have understood if he and M had stepped back and lived a back woods life in Canada, raised polo ponies in Argentina or farmed in Botswana. But all this spectacle .... it just runs counter to everything Harry was complaining about.

what'll happen when they eventually lose interest is anyone's guess

I suspect what will happen then is that the income stream will dry up and his wife’s interest will also decline. An older, wiser, sadder prince will return to the UK, marry an uncomplicated Home Counties aristocratic divorcee and possibly have a second family. I wonder if the bookies are taking bets?

Completely agree. That’s how it comes across to me too. I know someone who did similar. Ask to be bought out for his share of a business he had help set up in a fit of pique. Made enough money that he doesn’t ever have to work again but he’s furious he’s out even though he asked to leave, furious they didn’t beg him to stay and he is even more furious that the business has moved on without him and is successful without him.

It isn't about upstaging their private celebration. It is about taking some of the media attention like they have done with Eugenie THREE different times now.

I’m not sure there was much media attention about it being H&M’s wedding anniversary. I only realised it was as a footnote about Edo and Bea’s announcement.

Whilst BP has announced about Beatrice’s baby, have they congratulated H&M? That seems even more of a snub somehow.
