Yes it's his birthday but you wouldn't know it. Not one mention jn the media about it and yet we were subjected to plenty of charlotte and her recent birthday. Funny that.

Haha yes indeed.

I saw a tweet somewhere something to do with Archie's shoes. I think they might not be made from knotted palm leaves so I'll be quids in with this one! 😁

I couldn't care less about Archie holding balloons. However they are a real hazard for live stock and it's not a laughing matter. Idiots throw all sorts of dangerous rubbish out of their cars. I caught one of pet lambs eating a plastic glove the other day.

derxa I’ve just had my lovely bit of Sunday evening suburbia escapism with ‘This Farming Life’ it was all about lambing, hard work but the little lambs are so sweet. I can imagine that the additional hazard of discarded gloves and masks are a real problem at the moment. Hope the little lamb was ok.

It was Ok. I ran out just in time. The orphan lambs have a hard enough time surviving without that. Our lambs are now up to 2 months old now. I've got shoals of the little buggers Grin

Tbh I thought the same about the balloons... but only because I’ve steered clear of helium for my kids as it’s a finite resource and has important medical uses... (alongside the single use plastic/foil blowing away thing) that’s not a H&M thing, i just wouldn’t buy them and think the world has probably moved on. Ditto glitter.

I thought it was a beautiful photo but had a kind of lonely pathos about it, the standing on his own, not being able to see if his face is happy, holding a gang of balloons like a birthday boy without a party. Perhaps that is partly sensitivity to covid and the fact that normal mixing isn’t possible, but to me it just strikes a sad note, I don’t know why.
