With Prince Philip now gone, the queen not as robust as she once was and grieving her loss, Prince Charles looked distraught today, Harry with a new baby on the way, memories of Diana's funeral today....I wonder if now isn't the perfect time for them to just all get together show their love for each other and clear the air (perhaps without Meghan's presence as she seems to inflame things).

I think it'll be telling how long Harry chooses to stay in the UK before he returns to the US (a clear indication of whether he's willing to hang around for a little while to mend fences or rush back home to Meghan and Oprah and Gail) I really wish the best for them all, family is everything but I'm not holding my breath.

Well he displeased his great grandmother by being born on the anniversary of Prince Albert's death, she was only mollified by him being named for Albert. He had stomach problems, knock knees and was left handed and forced to use his right hand. His stammer was very severe. He was the disappointing younger brother to his handsome articulate big brother who was going to be King. He also had knock knees and had to wear painful splints.

He had a nanny who abused him and his brother.

His father, George V, had a famously bad temper and I think little Bertie was in fear of him maybe linked to his stammer.

All in all it just sounds pretty miserable.

I agree I think Prince Philip did what he thought was best for Charles but I don't think it was. We all make mistakes as parents.

After all that he was the one who was expected to rescue the family when the big brother did a runner.

Just as an aside... I have a pair of shoes very similar to MM in that pic. They are gold leather, got them at TK Maxx they are a thing of beauty.

However, they are lethal. Last time I wore them I honestly did the splits as one went in front the other, it was very painful, I don't wear them now, I just look at them.

I can't find it! Don't know what I'm doing wrong but the one I did find is very cute.

I don't think there is anything wrong with his eyes, now my son's eyes were so crossed it couldn't be denied but although unpleasant the treatment, including surgeries, sorted it out.

I think most babies can look a bit cross eyed in early photos so I was surprised to find multiple hits on a search of "New photo of Archie Mountbatten Windsor" came up with so much discussion about it.

This was the one I found, I should have read it as it says it's for his first birthday so obviously now a new one today. Don't you think his hair is gorgeous? He is like Harry.

People don't seem to know what leaking is.

A press release or press statement is not leaking. Confirming that you are doing ABCD when the press ask what are you doing for this occasion is not leaking. Anything from the publicity office is not leaking. A named source who directly says something showing a face and name is not leaking.

Talking on the side and saying don't say who said it, just say source is leaking. Showing the press a confidential email / message without the other party involved knowing that you are doing that is leaking - if all the parties involved in the conversation agree to all come out and show the email/communicaiton, that is a statement / press release.

Ok, so I found the reports from Meghan’s friends on how she was marking the funeral distasteful. And all the media reporting on the wreath. I don’t think it was an appropriate time to hear reports about her movements given the upset the interview caused at a time when PP was dying. H&M should have stopped the broadcast given the circumstances. I’m glad Meghan marked the occasion in her way. But it should have be done silently.

I do not know how royal leaks work and I have read a lot. And conflicting information. I certainly don’t agree with these either. Or having any kind of agenda.

Did anyone else notice Archie had the adult back pack on and M had the toddler one? I can imagine (remembering what mine were like) that he insisted on carrying mum’s ‘grown up’ bigger rucksack and she was made to have his one

The thing is - they dont owe any explanations to anyone really and if they want to appear in every rag in US its their issue...its obvious that they had issues over here and it wasn't going well...they can control the other media....

This so funny - and yes Archie is gorgeous. I'm hoping she didn't have to carry him too far - probably a few steps from the car.

I've walked out of and stumbled in a pair similar.
