The royal family

Do you think Oprah didn't ask the right questions.

Lots of subjects were spoken about but I felt that Oprah could have asked for further information.

What questions do you think she should of asked.

My question is to Harry 'why didn't you get Meghan help with her MH if you are a loving husband'

I think the problem I have with Harry and Meghan is that despite their age they behave like pre-pubescent teens having a strop.

And running through every word and action is a fundamental lack of personal integrity.

This is going to really upset the Palace.

MrsFin · 26/03/2021 12:50

I'll always love my kids, no matter what they do and I imagine PC would feel the same. But this film will be the final straw when it comes to making up, surely.

Lockdownbear · 26/03/2021 13:13
I think we now know the real reason for the interview.

I do not believe that Diana's death was in anyway planned. But I'd think they'd want to wipe Meghan out if they could.

Shehasadiamondinthesky · 26/03/2021 13:17

I like Oprah normally but I felt she was a complete YES woman in this interview. She didn't ask them anything difficult or challenging at all, it seemed to be all the questions the couple wanted to answer and nothing else.
I just do not know how she can call this the best interview she's ever done. It wasn't. She just went along with what they wanted.

What a big pile of shite that's going to be. I can't wait to watch it though. I should be ashamed of myself Grin

But sadly this will finish off Harrys relationship with his family, I think he needs to put a stop to this now and put his foot down.

I'd agree. But Meghan has him over a barrel. It's his Father and Brother vs his wife and kids.

Blueberries0112 · 26/03/2021 13:25

That site also said meghan is running for President. They will take anyone’s opinions and turn it into news

Blueberries0112 · 26/03/2021 13:29

More likely, people are going to make a fiction movie based on that interview. They already done it in 2018 and 2019. It doesn’t mean Meghan and Harry are writing the story

IrmaFayLear · 26/03/2021 16:37

Hmm like Meghan had absolutely nothing to do with Finding Freedom Hmm

Puzzledandpissedoff · 26/03/2021 17:41

TBF I can't see that somebody making a movie's all that different from Netflix making The Crown; I know H&M are signed up with Netflix now, but it's not as if they're producing either of the shows

That said, I somehow doubt they'd be happy to have no control over the content, so maybe they'll be up for some paid "collaboration" ... which really could upset the palace, but would no doubt be denied

Lauren15 · 26/03/2021 19:17

The latest series of the Crown did a lot of damage as so many idiots thought it was factual. I’d imagine this movie will have the same effect on its audience.

Blueberries0112 · 26/03/2021 20:47

Lifetime have been making movies for a long time. I don’t have lifetime channel (I need cable/satellite tv to have access) but When I did had it back when I didn’t have children, this is what I noticed

Another link: as you can see, lifetime had always made fictional movies about the royal. So this Meghan Harry movie is not something new nor it means they are involved other than their interview

He’s the organ grinder’s monkey.
Lockdownbear · 26/03/2021 22:45

How long before he realises that?

GoLightlyontheEarth · 26/03/2021 23:39

A long time I think. A very long time.

Furries · 26/03/2021 23:43
It might upset the palace, but it’s got nothing to do with M&H nor the interview.

I have serious doubts about some of the interview narrative, I think H has been a prize idiot through a lot of this. But a Lifetime make shit docu-dramas all the time, it will have nothing to do with the Sussexes.

No doubt the RF will roll their eyes at another pile of shite coming out, but am sure they are well used to it now.

As much as I’m questioning some of M&H’s narrative, I’m definitely not landing this film at their door.

GoLightlyontheEarth · 27/03/2021 00:24

If it’s nothing to do with them, I’m sure they will sue...

Diptyque · 27/03/2021 03:54

a fictionalized account of 'what really happened’

😆

MummyJ12 · 27/03/2021 05:13

I find it interesting that Oprah isn’t allowing people to leave comments on Twitter under the tweet of the interview. Although people have just commented using other tweets of hers and the vast majority of comments aren’t favourable. One of the comments being,
“What are you afraid of Oprah?”
Exactly. I wonder if she has any regrets about not probing them further and not challenging them on some matters.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 27/03/2021 09:21

Can't imagine Oprah is that bothered by the comments being negative. People asking about fact checking is the issue. It makes her set up look bad. Let alone the fake British headlines.

It is interesting after the initial favourable media support in America. Things are definitely starting to get reported more tongue in cheek there now. In time the truth will break through there too.

Hope so. There may well be things that were said that were true and things that were said that were false.

Considering the agendas of a range of characters in this story, it is important that both are identified and brougt to the light IMO.

CauliflowerCheese30 · 27/03/2021 23:05

Looks like no one can comment on anything Oprah puts on twitter unless she's tagged them?
