Cleo derby if Meghan is right about that that is terrible, but I think that she must have it wrong. Britain has such a rich cultural tapestry I cannot imagine the RF changing the prince protocols on that basis. Hope to hear what the palace say about it.

I watched it last night in Canada, I agree with others saying she came across really well, unlike Harry. I can believe she didn't know much about the Royals. Even here a commonwealth country most people are not particularly interested in the Royals . Most of my friends / colleagues didn't even know this interview was on or what it was about.

I think she’s lying and/or exaggerating a lot of this for a gullible American audience. I do not believe she didn’t know much about the royal family. That is absolute bull. Oprah knows it too.

I think it's more she didn't know how it operated as a system of control over your life and revoking of freedoms over your own choices.

I don't think any of us really understand that.

Lockdown is probably as close as we'll get to that feeling.

I have never been arsed one way or another about the royals but I think they have made a mistake doing this interview. I think she’s been a bit naive. Like it or not, the royal family is it’s own little microworld with its own ‘rules’. She obviously didn’t like it much. And she’ll be judged for being ‘too american’. Why Harry agreed to this I’ve no idea. Talk about burn your bridges...
