She’s not interested in the grandeur. She says, living authentically in her £10 million mansion.

Everyone knows Charles is looking to slim down the monarchy. Why on earth would the British public want to fund the lifestyle and protection of an American prince living in California and having zero connection to the British royal family.

I call BS on the three days before wedding.

Such and obvious lie. Does she think we are stupid ? Married by the Archbishop of Canterbury, no less. 'So she called him and said, look....

Anyone who starts a sentence with the word look said in a demanding tone deserves a slap IMO. Also, Marriage certs (along with birth and death certs) are public records. So the date has been recorded. Would the Archbishop of Canterbury really have gone along with the charade ?

What planet is Megan Debacle on ?

It all feels very prepared and rehearsed. She's not getting any surprise questions or indeed any challenge at all - I think Oprah's doing a shit job, she's not interviewing her at all, just providing the platform for them to air all their dirty laundry in public. I think it's utterly mortifying.

Also comparing her life to lockdown so "everyone knows how I was feeling"?! Give me a break. Yep - just like a mum trying to work and home school three kids in a high rise tower block wondering how she's going to feed them. The self obsession is repulsive.

Too many sentences ending in ‘right?’ there is no continuation of conversation there, only presumption of agreement.

Also - Oprah is not impartial in any way.

Okay, so Archie wasnt automatically a prince as he was g-grandchild of the monarch, there wasnt going to be the same exception made as there was for George et al, Archie would only become a prince when Charles ascended the throne and he was then grandchild of the reigning monarch.

They had been told by the palace that as Archie wouldnt be a Prince at birth, he wouldn't receive security at birth. (Horrifying)

I understand that Eugenie and Beatrice received security from birth until majority...but they were princesses at birth as they were grandchildren of the monarch.

I think that part makes sense now.

Is she suggesting that Archie was denied a title because she is a person of colour?
Do Anne’s children have titles? Edward’s or Whatshisname’s? Margaret’s children? I can’t remember.

Did they all also have people concerned about the colour of their children's skin?

It would not be “different from protocol”. It’s dreadful that she’s implying this was racially motivated. The baby was never going to be a prince.

This. It's unbelievable.

Yes, bullshit to calling the Archbishop up as if she’s calling her friend.

And not googling Harry? Liar. If I was after him and he became my boyfriend, of course I’d google him!

Archive isn't entitled to be made a Prince though, or have I got that wrong?
I thought the rules were changed after Eugene and Beatrice were born

Anne's children and Archie aren't the same generation. He automatically gets the Prince title when his grandparent is on the throne

Not watching. I applaud them for all they've done. Must have taken great courage. To see the sheer amount of hate been thrown their way is depressing though. The gutter press forget the likes of Caroline flack very quickly.

IF it's William then that would make sense as to all the frostiness between them.
Who knows?

I really do hope this is the last time Harry and Meghan talk about this, as they’ve said. Then we just need the queen to do what will infuriate them more than anything else, which is to say nothing and not outwardly/publicly react. Once that’s done, hopefully we can get on with a republic.
