I hope they get whatever closure they need from this interview and then go and live the peaceful life they want and maybe one day make peace (privately) with the family

As a British person going through anxiety, I spoke to my Dr on a friday and within a couple of days I was set up with a therapist on the phone for regular sessions. I think the RF would have even better service and also for something as serious as suicidal tendencies !

You're not telling me that someone in the RF couldn't get more intensive help for suicidal behaviours? Harry does seem subdued...

I don’t think she is referring to therapy - she is talking about residential care. And i think it’s highly likely that the RF would not have wanted that to be known.

I’ve been going to America at least twice a month for over 20 years (until Covid anyway) and there are always magazines in the shops covered with Wills and Harry. There is no way she didn’t know about him previously. And she’s not stupid and naive enough to not have done research. She’s no Diana - not a young, inexperienced girl. She was nearly 40, an independent woman of the world. Even though she wants to be the current day Diana.

It's not really a guide because the rules are different when the royal of the parents is the mother and when they are not directly in line to the throne.

Traditionally the grandchildren of the monarch are Princes/Princesses and the eldest son only of heirs apparent (i.e. George). However the Queen allowed for Charlotte and Louis to be Princess/Prince as an extra to this.

It would follow that when Charles becomes King, Archie & his sister will then be grandchildren of the monarch and would then (traditionally) be Prince and Princess.

However, C. is known for wanting to slim down the monarchy so may not uphold this (irrespective of H&M having stepped down).

I’m just happy for them that they got out of the cesspit of dysfunctional disgusting behaviour that is the “Royal” family. We all know what they’re capable of and who their friends are. A really glamorous history.

And of course getting away from the toxic British press is a bonus,too.

What bits of this interview are straight down the line, what bits exaggerated, what bits rehearsed, I couldn’t care less. I’m just glad they got themselves and their family out.

She might not have googled Harry but she visited Buckingham Palace when she was younger and was photographed doing so. She was also said to be a fan of Diana. It seems strange not to put two and two together when Harry said who he was.

Well if residential care, she would most likely have needed to go to The Priory or somewhere similar and that might have been a worry in case the press found out. Maybe that was her and Harry wanting to be "private" though.

Yeah that does seem an odd choice for such an obviously intelligent, savvy woman.

Of course it’s known they live together at Royal Lodge and it’s known they bought a ski chalet together, which they are now trying to sell. It’s not a clanger.
