I think he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't...now he's stepped away and has found other ways to fund his security and lifestyle people are moaning... he's not going to be able to survive on 40k a year is he.. and not his fault he's born into Royalty

No, protection to that degree of threat, it would be multi team, 24/7 security - probably ex police officers. It would consume an absoute fortune before their lives were out- more than even they had to hand.

Exactly what I thought. I mean, what would stop her from getting a cab and going to Harley Street ( even if they had taken away her driving license). When you take away the emotion and the cries of "racism", so much of this does not add up.

Of course the RF have access to therapists and Meghan would not have been "alone" , she had staff. I believe her Mother was staying there for part of the time, too.

If only she had done her research , maybe it would all not have been such a shock. Obviously being in the English RF is not going to be anything like being an American actress.

Those who say "Archie was never going to become a Prince" are wrong. Well, technically. It's looking like he was going to be prevented from it.

The RF and Charles in particular have been very vocal about the fact that when the Queen goes, the working royals will be slimmed down. It could be that, after the next generation of great grand children, there'd be no more titles for grandchildren. And the next one was Archie.

You think they'd support it given how much they hate the family.

They're obviously stung by the perceived difference in treatment between Archie and William's children. No title, no security... I can understand that Meghan might not be aware of the British public's lack of tolerance for the extravagant spending of the RF, but Harry must be WELL aware of it. The RF have tried to slim down expenditure in line with what feels appropriate for a modern monarchy, and Meghan seems to be complaining that they weren't getting enough financial support.

I don't think that's going to go down well with the public.

I can understand that they want security for their family, but blimey - they're not short of cash. Surely they could pay for it themselves like other A-listers do.
