Well she’s confused then, and he seems to say some strange things too (saw a bit last night), but in parts they sound more credible.

It’s a very mixed bag.

Maybe that’s inevitable when you interview one half of a family feud?

HeathIns · 08/03/2021 22:05

@OverweightPidgeon

Has Harry had a hair transplant ?
It looks like it has changed texture due to thinning. He might have sprayed is scalp?

Exactly Waggish. Spoiled brats the pair of them.

littlepattilou · 08/03/2021 22:05

@OverweightPidgeon

Has Harry had a hair transplant ?
Harry's hair does look thicker now that you mention it.

Can't see the back though, so I am not 100% sure.

minchinfin · 08/03/2021 22:05

That was the the Harry being annoyed about his dad no longer funding his independent lifestyle comment, I don't feel either of them are coming off well. They both sound a bit petulant.

WaggishDancer · 08/03/2021 22:06

@Frequentflier

I am not British and finding this all very odd and confusing. Would the royal family actively stop her going to a therapist or shrink?
Since Diana, Charles, William and Harry are on record saying they went to several, it seems very strange. Even more so since one could be visited online so no need to even leave the palace.
oakleaffy · 08/03/2021 22:06

It is one long whineathon so far.
two overprivileged whiners , just unreal.

Plus Meghan says ''I lost my father''.... I had no idea he had died, rather, I thought that he had been ''Markled''.

Harry I feel will be dumped when someone wealthier comes along.

Being professional victims isn't a good look.

RunningFromInsanity · 08/03/2021 22:06

@Thewishingchair123

1 minute in, I could no longer maintain a neutral stance - there’s NO WAY she didn’t know what questions Oprah was going to ask! We are not idiots - when you have any kind of interview, you pretty much know what you will be asked - at least the general areas.

Also I can’t believe Harry didn’t give her any indication of what being part of the family was like. If my husband didn’t give me an indication about the challenges of his family before I married into them, I would be challenging him - not them!

For me, this is really not doing them any favours.

They know exactly who is going to answer each question. It’s rehearsed. They have key words/phrases they have to throw in. It’s quite funny actually.
SugarfreeBlitz · 08/03/2021 22:07

TBH I think Megan went into this blindly, ignorantly even. What happened to "When in Rome, do as the Romans?" It wwould have been a basic courtesy to study the very family in which you are consindering becoming a part and make an informed decision about CAN I live this way? before making that commitment.

No doubt it's hard to be in the RF, but William actually took a break from Kate to make sure she knew what she would be taking on if she married him. Maybe Harry should have done the same.

littlepattilou · 08/03/2021 22:07

MEGZIT Grin

JamesMiddletonsMarshmallows · 08/03/2021 22:07

Harry looks quite uncomfortable

To me, a summary of Meghan's problem:
"I thought I could go in to the Royal family like the Princess Diaries and make a change with my amazing opinions. But when I went into the job they said Royals don't give opinions. So I was silenced, and it's probably because they're racists".

She's a brat

He's a fool who didn't spell it out to her.

Cam77 · 08/03/2021 22:07

@Thewishingchair123
Well I side with them over the odd ball collection of racists and abusers they left in the UK.

HeathIns · 08/03/2021 22:07

Would the royal family actively stop her going to a therapist or shrink?

No. Harry has said he has had therapy.

WaggishDancer · 08/03/2021 22:08

@cabingirl

Also he completely contradicts her version of the racist skin colour comment - she says there were comments to Harry during her pregnancy.

He says it was one comment before they got married.

Not saying it wasn't a horrible thing to hear but it's not some constant barrage of skin colour related comments coming at the same time as the discussion on titles etc.

If it was before they got married, then really that was the time to have a massive think about whether it was the right family to be marrying into and the right job to commit to.

Harry was known to be racist before their marriage. Philip as well. I don’t even follow the royals much and know this.

RunningFromInsanity · 08/03/2021 22:08

This would be so much better with a lie detector test and Kate running out from behind the camera screaming, a la Jezza Kyle style

ChocolateSantaisthebestkind · 08/03/2021 22:08

What the jeff is 'a commonwealth of the Uk?!' Hmm

RaininSummer · 08/03/2021 22:09

I clicked on it too not realising it was the ex royal bore fest rumbling on.

A BIT petulant?

Most of us stop being funded by our families the minute we leave home.

Dry eyed 'tears' ...Oh poor poor little people, such a hard life to lead...Bring out the World's tiniest violin.

JamesMiddletonsMarshmallows · 08/03/2021 22:09

Actually I wonder if Meghan knew EXACTLY what she was walking into, and thought 'pffft it'll change when I'm in the family' and realised that wasn't possible. She does come across as very arrogant

CJsGoldfish · 08/03/2021 22:09

It’s dreadful that she’s implying this was racially motivated. The baby was never going to be a prince

I'm not sure why so many are not understanding this particular issue. When Charles ascends the throne, Archie would have automatically become a prince. There is NO WAY discussing changing this convention whilst Meghan was pregnant is going to feel anything BUT targeted. Those who say "Archie was never going to become a Prince" are wrong. Well, technically. It's looking like he was going to be prevented from it. Not the greatest timing and very very suss.
I don't believe ANY mother, especially on MN wouldn't feel like their PFB was being deliberately excluded. And feel any less hurt.

custardbear · 08/03/2021 22:09

Very scripted

Kicks various royals in different topics, new subject and I think hhhmmm wonder who will get the knee this time 🤔

No actual emotion - when I've been close to the edge, a few wet eye moments graze me, years and years afterwards when talking about them - so far not a wrinkled brow or wet eye

Does eugenie/Beatrice (whichever had the baby) get a title? ... if yes then I'm on H&M
side on that one ... must Google 🥱

I think she may be correct.

Once the Queen goes, then I think we should think seriously about why we have such an Institution.

Meanwhile, people talk about Be Kind.

Cam77 · 08/03/2021 22:10

@ChocolateSantaisthebestkind
Spoiled? - well, yes. Which Royal isn’t?
Brats? Well, if true that puts them leagues ahead of most of the other members of that family.
