That said you've got to learn that to criticise this pair does not equal racism. An opinion that they shouldnt be using their Royal platform, because lets face it that is the only reason they are famous, for a Biden publicity stunt is not racist. Neither is laughing when Trump took them down a peg or 2.

What a crock. I’ve consistently answered points about Meghan and Harry with counter arguments that are about Meghan and Harry, and very consistently whenever I do the usual suspects will immediately try to derail by making a personal attack on me.

My fear on the USA election stuff is that their wokeness and platitudes actually put people off voting Democrat and actually help Trump, God forbid. An earlier poster (sorry forgot who) pointed out that celebrity endorsements in politics can easily backfire.

I’m puzzled on this. The way I see it is the Queen is loathe to take away the titles (esp after Diana) but their recent behaviour surely forces her hand?

HaM seem keen to retain their titles - they could easily relinquish them in line with their stated values on equality. It feels like more of the half in, half out cherry picking approach that originally irked many people. I guess if their behaviour forces the Queen’s hand, that fits their victim narrative.

This seems a bit dismissive of Froggys post, no? Whatever one thinks, I think it is fair to validate others experiences. And if froggy said she feels harassed, can’t we at least sympathetically acknowledge that. Instead of implying that since you don’t see it, it doesn't exist

I have only watched a bit of that video with the sound off but it looks to me like H trying to make himself as small as possible in the farthest reaches of the bench suggests that the penny is dropping.

I suspect it will be an MP that requests their titles are taken away therefore the Queens hands remain clean.

I think Andrew is a horrible sleaze but he has not been charged with anything, if he is, then his titles will be removed but not before.

Until Andrew is vindicated (unlikely) nothing will happen.
Because immediately they lose their titles, the spotlight will be turned on him and it's very convenient to have them as the bad guys and not him

Anyway, my two bits regarding H&M is that trumps comments are so typical of misogyny. I mean, haven’t most of us heard that “we are being difficult” for having an opinion, “our poor husbands” if they play a supportive role in our careers or beliefs and “being emotional or negative or playing victim” if rationally point out things that impact us
