By the way, Trump blasts MM because he can't stand a strong or powerful woman. That's been shown time and time again on his dealings with women whether it be the likes of Hillary Clinton, female WH correspondents (who he is habitually rude to) or female anchors on news channels he doesn't like. He mocks them, derides them, calls them nasty names, and does his very best to demean them.

I am no Trump fan, but actually, I'd put money on him blasting her because, well, because she and Harry put themselves right in the firing line. He obviously thinks drawing attention to the silliness of the speech and hypocrisy will play out well with his voters.

There are plenty of strong and properly powerful women in the US. Comparing her to Hillary Clinton and the female WH correspondents is a joke.

Donald Trump was asked a question by a reporter and he answered it in his usual way. To say that he “went after” either of them is slightly ridiculous.

I doubt very much that any of the posters on this thread hate H&M - they're just entertained/bemused by their continued public pronouncement about stuff they don't know much about. I also doubt that any of them are racist or misogynistic either.

@froggygoneacourting's frothing denouncements of anyone who has the temerity to question H&M's behaviour are completely disproportionate to what's being discussed. Try getting off the moral high ground and having a conversation.

Other posters have stated as fact that they stepped back because they wanted to be completely private and lead lives as private citizens. All I’ve ever said was to ask for sources where Harry and Meghan explicitly stated this.

If you can’t give such a source then you need to stop pretending you know their motivation, and attacking them for being hypocrites for not doing something they never said they wanted to do in the first place.

It’s other posters who have stated that they know why Meghan and Harry left, and got abusive when asked for proof to back up their claims.

That is awful, personal attacks are of course not allowed and would have been deleted. Anyone calling someone a racial slur, (I really can't believe anyone would use the N word on here) even 'gammon' should be banned imo.

That said you've got to learn that to criticise this pair does not equal racism. An opinion that they shouldnt be using their Royal platform, because lets face it that is the only reason they are famous, for a Biden publicity stunt is not racist. Neither is laughing when Trump took them down a peg or 2.
