I thought we could have a thread for latest news. MN did say they didn't mind one or two threads. And no rules except stick to MN guidelines. It's Meghans birthday today I just read. And the Queen has wished her a very happy birthday on the royal Instagram page according to that popular Oracle the DM.

Censorship at this level is never good and I feel it reflects a narrowing of free speech in our society as a whole. HaM are using their influence to damage businesses by impacting their advertising if they view the content to be negative. Shocking behaviour from any celebrity, but esp a 'Royal'.

Stop companies advertising on social media?? What on earth are they on about now. I must say I hardly pay any attention to social media ads they are nothing but a pain and make loading slower. I quickly skimmed a sun article. They want to create a community of love. OK. Good luck with that. Maybe if we start with our own families first that would be a good thing.

It can't be nice living in a "rented" house for all that time. It's not a proper rent where you can bring your own furniture and make the place you're own. It's like being in a permanent, though very big, holiday home. I bet it's full of the owners clothes, personal belongings etc. And I hate inspirational quotes!

I suppose buying a house has been affected by Covid. They might not even be planning to stay in L.A. because the door is open for them to return within a year. Book out tomorrow. Number of articles on them in the DM record stands at 15 in one day. But I only started counting a few weeks ago.

You wouldn't be able to relax in a furnished rented house. I reckon there are closets full of the owners clothes, personal photos on the wall, etc.

I’m sure Archie has broken quite a lot of priceless stuff already. It must be hard to replace it too in the current situation. There must be a list of ‘stuff to replace’.

I wonder if like a typical rented house the letting agent did an inventory in advance.

I read somewhere the owners want to sell it and them living there might be good advertising. Imagine prospective buyers wanting to look round with them in residence. That's a common problem for renters on MN. The usual consensus is not to allow it as it's an invasion of privacy. I thought they would have moved on before now. They might decide LA is not for them. I couldn't see the point of living there unless you're involved in showbizz

I wonder about this as well especially since the pandemic must be causing issues for people wanting to apply for citizenship. I suppose Harry might need to travel back to the U.K. for a while at some point if necessary.

I don't think the usual rules will apply to Harry. I thought spouses could stay indefinitely but couldn't get a green card. Not sure.

i think he did that. the video they made recently looked weird as if they were in different places and put together on the video.

also he had a pic taken supposedly in their garden with the background LA nature. i think that was a photoshop.
