It was good to see H&M volunteering lately. I did not know MM spoke Spanish as well, I knew about French. I remember reading that she spent a long time in Rome, since the Latin group of languages are similar, I wonder if she can speak Italian as well.

The reverend at Homeboy talked about it.

Also lovely to hear the Homeboy employee blocking paps when H&M came over.

And Sharon stone praising them for the work they do and say they are in LA to be part of the community rather than to take from the community. Seems like they have been seen cycling around LA.

I am glad to hear H is still carrying on with the help for vets charities, just shows how this was really his passion.

I also hope that the Stop hate for profit campaign carries on too and becomes more worldwide - just like the BLM, and that it lasts. Hope it reaches as far as MN too because they seem to be looking at being another platform for hate too.

i miss this thread.

I have been absent for a while on MN, came back to see if there is much discussion about their recent work.

Anyway I liked Harry ‘s speech for the Diana awards, he has grown so much and you can tell he is constantly learning about issues of race. Oh I also think it’s nice that they don’t have any social media accounts, and the charities themselves make the announcement.

Yes I saw that, he did well. And I agree, still learning.

The FBI and lawyers allegedly have evidence of The Sun gathering information unlawfully. A private investigator was told to find background information on Meghan (including social security number/data, private phone numbers, to find out where she lives, address checks and vehicle background). The private investigator has spoken to Byline Times and they claim that he has now turned whistleblower – and has even offered to give evidence to help the Sussexes get justice.

of topic but I watched a film made in 2004 and it was strange seeing the actor who plays Lewis Litt in it. (and gosh Jason Stratham was young lol) made me remember how good suits was at the beginning.

Here is the full commonwealth video. I thought the young leaders and H&M came out very well on it. I especially liked the introduction and closing statements by Mike (he came in second at the beginning of the call).

I am not surprised by the headlines criticising them as a way to shut down conversations.
Piers M pretended he understood the importance of having these conversations at the height of the BLM protests, yet here he is not but a couple of weeks later, shutting them down with his 3 other white colleagues presuming to know the lived experience of a person of colour and what and how they should address these issues. Lots to be learned still still. (I assume PM is just to promote his DM article judging by his tweets)

I am happy however that This Morning brought in Michelle who came with another point of view. Around 2 mins she starts talking :

MM will be the keynote speaker for the Girl Up global leadership summit next week, 13-15 July.

Michelle Obama will also be speaking.
