Everyone that gets pitted against her wins. MM is always the bad guy. Celebrity or not It’s uncomfortable, relentless and really cruel.

I've just finished it well, it is raining here and the third episode has much more on PA. And bits I didn't know came out. I hope we never have to clap eyes on him again, he's disgusting. And he has got away with it all by just 'stepping down'. He has not received anywhere near the vile press that MM has...and look at what he has been part of.

I know we know the story of Epstein, but hearing it from the victims' , how they were sidelined, disparaged, not heard etc was just too much. It was very shocking.

Meant to add.... I am wondering if the announcement that PA will not be resuming royal duties again... ever... coincided with the release of this Netflix series?

And as for Ghislaine Mazwell pootling round Europe, scot free... well, don't get me started...

I never said people like him, I think he is very much disliked. And I never said there was positive press either. But I do not see, for instance, endless media articles, endless tweets, endless DM crap.

Yes there is stuff out there but I am saying the sheer quantity is not there the same.

I think your point is still valid @Roussette. I never said PA was loved or that he didn’t have bad press. I actually compared the constant dissecting & criticism of Meghan even when she is not on the radar to PA. There is plenty of evidence out there of the kind of coverage Meghan still gets.

There RR are always ready to offer their insight about MM but haven’t seen that much with Andrew. It’s just something that is noticeable, especially now; out of all the others Meghan attracts lots of attention, and most of that is overwhelmingly negative.

Maybe there is more written about MM as she has lots of positive support, as well as the negative. Absolutely no-one is supporting Andrew - so there is nothing to write about, no point in any discussion?

Not HaM related , but I’m relieved now the other officers have been charged & the charges have been upgraded for Derek Chauvin. It’s a long road to justice but I hope the Floyd family will be comforted by this development.

I really hope the tide will eventually turn for Meghan, but I hope that doesn’t mean attacks on Kate resume again. I wonder what all the men in the RF think about about it all; the way the media often treat women in the RF.

The other thread has been running with a rumour about MM entering private rooms and taking illicit pictures of royal residences. They're also claiming she took pictures of George to possibly share of social media.

Apparently she needed a minder when in royal palaces.

@Becles oh dear. I don’t read other long running threads at all, as soon as I see I new one I hide it.But damn that’s such a cruel cruel rumour. Don’t want this thread to be pulled so I will leave this at that.

I really hope HaM can carve a path for themselves and harness the support they continue to receive from so many. This is why some POC believe that it would not be in the best interest of M to come back, Internet rumours sometimes end up in the tabloids and used to slate her even more. It’s just cruel.

I applaud Meghan for her video. It was very sincere.

I understand there's been a Tatler article that has annoyed W&K and they are taking legal action so I thought... only fair, go and read it before I post.
Well... maybe it's just me, but was it really that bad? Apart from a couple of little barbs, it really was Team Kate and more or less saying she hasn't put a foot wrong and she's quite formidable (not in a bad way). Yes it brought up her family etc, but all that is old news.

Ironic really. They take legal action about this, which appears to be about nothing much, and I just wonder if they think about H&M getting this a hundred fold all the time, and much worse.

Where has it been confirmed that Meghan took photos of a child? . Really how anyone can accuse her things like this then say it has nothing to do with her race is beyond me. Saying she needed a minder around the palace as she wasn’t trusted is like saying a POC needan to be followed around the shop which happens a lot btw because they could not be trusted.I just knew as soon as Becles posted that someone will be along to say nothing about Meghan is about race. Well like been mentioned above in U.K. very hard to discuss it for fear of being accused of playing the race card amongst other things.

Why does Meghan never ever get to be talked about in a humane way. It’s discouraging, even now in this thread nobody has slated other royals . But somehow there is always someone who pops in to defend or gives them a benefit of doubt if they are mentioned. Just never Meghan. Those rumours are disgusting.

That’s a real lovely message from Meghan. I like that she acknowledged Breona Taylor as her death has been overshadowed a bit , but great nonetheless for acknowledging all of them.

She is in the right place ( her hometown) to be able to comment on issues of race at this time. It’s not even political to comment about what is happening now, so I hope this Acknowledged for what it is.
