A continuation for those who would like to look at the positive side of Harry and Meghan.

Is this still a positive thread for Harry and Meghan?

Have you seen anything negative about them?
Also, have you questioned other threads about their titles?

William came across very well in tonight's documentary about football/men's mental health. IMO at least. I would expect some kind of SM input from HaM within the next 24 hours, and it will be interesting to see what they say.

EthelMayFergus · 28/05/2020 21:47

I thought so too yoloPenguinsEatfish, William and Catherine's popularity is going from strength to strength with tonight's programme and Tatler's cover next month; Catherine the Great.

Thank you Mummy195 re; study/sturdy. I can normally decipher sentences banjaxed by autocorrect/predictive text but I'd had a looong morning!

Funny thing, I know mr cawthorne🤭not personally from where I used to work.

im not sure about W&k being more popular.
maybe on here, but I doubt any of the RF are at the moment. I think they have shown how little they do.
I din't watch the programme as him talking to footballers.....not my thing.

Yes, but people from the anti MM threads have joined. They seem working to make this a general royal family thread and to share how 'William and Kate's dedication is great /haven't put a foot wrong' in comparison to the vulgar American.
EthelMayFergus · 29/05/2020 10:18

Becles The op's post at 10.47 yesterday began talking about all of the royals, PC, PA, W&K, PD, apropos of nothing. It's her thread.

no one owns a thread. well unless your on the other threads(joke) I don't think you can discuss HaM without talking about the other royals. the sainting of K is only happening because of the stuff about M. so you can't really talk about one without the other.(IMO)
mrscampbellblackagain · 29/05/2020 10:23

The tatler article is a massive hatchet job on Kate and her mother and sister. Honestly, it is back to slagging Kate off for being NQOCD.

EthelMayFergus · 29/05/2020 10:44

Samcro I agree, I think there's no harm in threads going off on a bit of a tangent, but Becles had said the tangent had been started by posters from the 'anti MM thread' (Becles description, not mine) and it hadn't.

This, all of this.

I didn't watch the W programme, because I don't really care to listen to W&K anyway. Even more so now when they encourage ppl to open up about MH. I think they are having a laugh. I saw the promotion of the programme and my understanding is that he talks about being emotionally vulnerable when you are a new father. He never said a word to support his own brother who was also a new dad. Maybe he should have started there, and led by example.

I understand why Becles responded that way, because what she is saying is true, ppl from other threads have been the ones slagging off H&M.

What is confusing is that this poster came in long after those posts to ask this question.

I think the Tatler article, was meant to be a hit piece on H&M. Then to also remind us that K was also criticised, but she did not quit like H&M did. That she is now left to carry H&M work plus her own, while raising DC and being a kingmaker.

Only it backfired. She was dragged on SM. We are seeing more of them than we have ever seen before, so I don't think they foresaw the backlash.

Why are you expecting H&M to say something now?

Meghan has been doing some great work for an animal charity Smile

Samcro · 29/05/2020 13:16

I don't get why KaW are moaning about their workload, thats the job.

I have no time fot W and all this mh stuff, it reminds me of when ant and dec were used to start a mh campaign on itv.
W has done nothing to publicly support his brother.
To be fair I don't have much time for H doing it either.

yoloPenguinsEatfish · 29/05/2020 13:20

Why are you expecting H&M to say something now?

Because of the previous numerous occasions when HaM have hit the social media when the family Megz never had have hit the press.

could just be a coincidence. I doubt if they sit there and think, hey bruv is doing some tv show with footballers.....how can we match that.
Mummy195 · 30/05/2020 10:54

Infact H was the first to address ppl on video regarding Covid. A lot of the times, H&M were got there first. I don't think anyone is looking at anyone else's diary, most certainly, I don't think H&M are looking at W&K diaries.

Sorry, but this addressing the plebs thing from the RF, sounds very much like it's coming from the H&M playbook.

Harry was involved with mental health issues and awareness before William and had received lots of praise. Heads Together was his idea.

I am glad that William is doing these documentaries.

Samcro Completely agree (and all I see is WaK frantically pedalling and thinking up ever-more ingenious ways to show that they do actually work ...whatever that means in royal-speak. Still, the others aren't even bothering).

"He never said a word to support his own brother who was also a new dad."

And you know that how? Hmm

Samcro · 30/05/2020 16:16

I think they mean publicly.
