A continuation for those who would like to look at the positive side of Harry and Meghan.

@Winterlife just being nosy. are you from the USA? I only wonder as you say diaper.

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 19/05/2020 16:30

I liked her hair too but I know not everybody did. I just thought they looked so glamorous getting into their car and driving off into the sunset.😂

Mummy195 · 19/05/2020 16:53

We know that the couple are constantly in touch with ppl behind the scenes, I wonder if H collaborated with someone for a special gift for MM this year. Maybe something that can be posted. Just musing.

Also nice to hear from the florist from the wedding too. It must have been a lovely fragrance for the church goes the next day too, coming in for their normal service and smelling that fragrance from fresh flowers.

I think it looks quite cool when the younger royals get into these lovely vintage cars after the wedding.

Mummy That piece you have just posted is incredible sycophantic drivel. There's 'positive' and there's this. Where did you find it? And as for Archie's nappy, five minutes on Google images would have revealed it. I can't believe I'm discussing a one year old's nappy. It really doesn't matter but why would you deny its existence?

Mummy195 · 19/05/2020 17:06

Which piece is that?

OP posts:
yoloPenguinsEatfish · 19/05/2020 17:12

OMG that Bazaar piece that Mummy195 just posted - pass the sickbag, Alice! and wot derxa said.

derxa · 19/05/2020 17:13

The piece about Harry having a piece of jewellery being commissioned for Meghan. Is is really appropriate in these difficult times.

Samcro · 19/05/2020 17:18

Omg really,
Husband buys wife a present... shock horror.
So positve on a positive thread.

Mummy195 · 19/05/2020 17:23

The ethical jewellery was done last year, long before the epidemic. It happened . It was widely reported. Maybe, in these difficult times, the press could also stop smearing MM?

H can do whatever he wants for his wife.

I don't suppose you went around to negative threads and posted the following did you, especially in regards with dodgy articles like the DM :

That piece you have just posted is incredible hateful drivel. There's ' negative ' and there's this.

Mummy195 · 19/05/2020 17:24

Who's Alice?

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 19/05/2020 17:27

I don't feel offended by him commissioning jewellery for his wife. I'm more offended by the article.😂

If he was Prime Minister of an MP I would wonder at his judgement but not as a random royal living in the US.

Yup that Bazaar piece is hilarious.

derxa · 19/05/2020 17:28

The ethical jewellery was done last year, long before the epidemic. That's alright then.

Samcro · 19/05/2020 17:29

This thread is taking me back.
Ar one time on mn, posters would chat of board and then try to get a thread taken down. You could always tell as they always arrived together.

Mummy195 · 19/05/2020 17:36

Sorry, am I missing something here? Something wrong with ethically sourced jewellery ?
Have not heard that one.

Ar one time on mn, posters would chat of board and then try to get a thread taken down. You could always tell as they always arrived together. Oh for God's sake. I don't want any threads taken down. In fact there was an awful thread yesterday about 'speech impediments'. It was full of bullying and ignorance. It included an attack on the Scottish Health Minister and the way she speaks. I gave a detailed informed post about her articulation. The thread was taken down but I think it would have been informative to keep it going.
I don't chat with anyone off board.

yoloPenguinsEatfish · 19/05/2020 17:40

In answer to someone up thread, no, one year olds are not dignified.

However, they do grow up, and particularly for this one year old, what goes on the web will always be findable and shareable.

So I stand by my point.

Roussette · 19/05/2020 17:42

For someone who “can’t be arsed”, you’ve responded to me not once, but twice

Yep. But all through I've said 'does it really matter?'

creativecringe · 19/05/2020 17:43

I am loving a positive thread.

SetPhasersTaeMalkie · 19/05/2020 17:48

I would love a positive thread, but no chance of one.

Mummy195 · 19/05/2020 17:55

Just some of the wedding annivesary postings today. I've never tried a cake with Elderflower before. I tend to find it sweet, though I suppose the lemon would set off any sickly sweetness.

@Samcro, I am in Canada, and old enough to remember when the monarchy was loved here.

@Rousette, a distinction without a difference.

SpooniesAreGo · 19/05/2020 18:10

Yes, I’ve long noticed that whenever anyone says anything positive about Meghan, the anti-Meghan brigade will try to derail it so it’s deleted. MNHQ even confirmed it once. They also confirmed that Meghan-haters were registering multiple accounts, and of course that now-banned poster who posts on the “other” site brags that she created ten separate MN accounts just to use to attack Meghan.

I guess it gives them something to do. Bless.

Roussette · 19/05/2020 18:11

a distinction without a difference

No idea what that means.

On this thread with posters banging on about vests versus onesies, my answer is 'does it matter'
I say it, because I imagine one day some posters might give up on it.
faint hope
