Hasn't Prince Harry learnt anything from his mother's experience of having someone write her biography 'to set the record straight'? Couldn't they have at least waited until after his grandmother's death, however long that might be?

This really made me chuckle.. so true. It just sums it up for me.

Meghan has recorded a video for one of her charities, Smart Works (well, she recorded it in late March) and they have just released it today. I'm sure they had a good reason to wait until April 29 to do so.

Its clear at this stage that the need to steal attention from other members of the RF is pathological. Like, are they mentally ok? Its bizarre.

Possibly. However I doubt they'd do so without getting the go ahead as to when would be the most "appropriate" time to release it.

Absolutely HaM will have approved the release, and the timing will be down to them too. Now, you could say that it's too machiavellian to release it on the day of your DB and SIL wedding anniversary, because most people would think "ooh lets get it out early or hold off a bit".

It does make you wonder. Presumably SmartWorks are aware of the current tension around the Sussexes and wouldn't want to do anything that would make it look as if their patron had deliberately tried to upstage W&K. Unless they were told to.

I wonder how they will stay relevant when their royal "duties" are pared to zero after December 31?

SmartWorks will have weighed up the benefit of the exposure, both current and potentially in the future, and decided to make hay while the sun shines. Because if the patronage goes tits up they wont get any more leverage out of it, so might as well get it now.

It's all so unnecessary. She is in danger of appearing unhinged, with the constant attempts at upstaging the RF.
She's history, and it obviously narks her.

The real irony is that I wouldn't have known when W&K's anniversary was, but any time H&M release something I now think "what else is on?" It really has got that bad ...

The thing is - even if it wasn't deliberately timed to coincide with W&K's anniversary, they surely have enough foresight to see that people would think/assume it was - so why bother giving yourselves more opportunity for backlash?

I have just read that Harry’s reading of the Thomas the Tank Engine story will be aired on Saturday which is Charlotte’s birthday .
I am sure it is just a coincidence .
