You missed the point. It's not about this one incident. It's that you can almost set your clock to the next "announcement" by H&M. They all coincide with some RF event. As I posted, I'm not complaining about it. I find the immaturity of it quite amusing.

Cupcakes - yes yes yes. I do not have a sweet tooth. Until lockdown happened. I am now the size and shape of a bowling ball. No jjoke. Pre lockdown I was doing so well with weight/fitness, it's all gone tits up somewhat

Samcro luv to you, I am sure you miss your DD so much.

I worry about mine but they rang on Whatsapp and were stupidly silly so feel a bit better now, but still worry about youngest who lives on her own in London.

I don't think PA is forgotten about, it's just there is nothing new to talk about as he's no longer doing anything in the public eye and nothing has progressed with regards to any investigations into his association with Epstein.

H&M are doing plenty in the public eye so gives lots of new discussion points. If they don't want people discussing them then I suggest they take a few months off.

Roussette you're not the only one struggling with weight gain in lockdown.

One thing I will say for MM, she keeps herself in great shape. I bet she could build a really successful lifestyle empire post-Covid, with lots of ethically sourced goods, clean eating, mindfulness, etc.

I’ve just read 77% of Brits don’t want the lockdown lifted. Do you think it’s because we’ll all have to go back on our boring moderation - abstention diets when it is? I mean, when again will we be able to eat and drink multipacks, watch and read rubbish, and generally have a good time and not feel guilty?

Have you tried the Paprika Pringles, Set? it's pretty much the same flavouring as smokey bacon.

I give you:

Jay Rayner's recipe for smokey bacon flavouring. Someone posted this on another thread but I can't remember who so can't credit them, but thank you, lovely MNetter, whoever you are. You were right about the roast potatoes!

2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp fine table salt
1 tbsp caster sugar
1 tsp garlic powder

I don't think the current times are good for HaM, I think it will make their lives considerably more difficult than they could have been - and the court case is really not going to help.

If they could have stayed, they would have been much safer, had much more access to resources (money, press protection, access to family etc).

Sadly I don't think things would have worked out any better if they had stayed. I don't doubt their feelings for each other are genuine but theirs has all the hallmarks of a holiday romance that went too far.

I think they had no choice, personally. I don't think the negative press (the unwarranted stuff) would've stopped, given that it's following them across the Atlantic. But surely it's either easier to ignore over there, or not as much as if they'd been here.

I've always said that on occasions they have done themselves no favours, but who could live with all that stuff going on, and I do think it's a great loss, they are a force for good and it's such a shame they felt they had to go whatever the reasons .

Holiday romance... nah, don't agree! That would be me and DH if that's the case then, we're very different, met in our 30s, we got married quickly and here we are 34 years later...

On another note... if anyone wants a wonderful series to watch, (Samcro, nothing like Criminal Minds!) I cannot recommend enough 'Simple People'. Beautiful just beautiful. All on iPlayer, it's on BBc3 now, I binge watched it and so rare for me, I actually want to sit through it all again.

I've never seen so many superb reviews.

I don't think we can make any assumptions about people's relationships if we don't actually know them, can we? It's hard enough doing that when we DO know them!

I agree that they had no choice and had to leave. And I really, really hope they find some peace. But I doubt it.

I loved seeing them together and think they could have been amazing. It's all a mess.

I don't agree with everything they do, but then again I don't agree with everything most people do! The press they get is horrific and whether it is better or the same than any other member of the Royal family, doesn't make it any better.

That's where I'm coming from anyway. I like them. I like a lot of the causes they have been involved in. And I don't think they're perfect because nobody is.

i often wonder what really happened between Will & Harry. that is something I wish would come out. Will has been very quiet and unsupportive (publicly) of Harry which seems odd considering they used to seem so close. he didn't seem that warm to Meg. that pic of her trying to talk to him and him playing with his scarf was quite damming.
I know M and K were supposed to have a spat and dress fitting, but mix a bride to be a woman who has just given birth and that seems a recipe for disaster.
