It’s just all a bit frenetic @Mummy195 - multiple links, multiple screenshots, all very quickly posted - and I can’t be bothered to waste energy reading it all unless you have a point of some sort.

Samcro · 29/04/2020 19:10

Its funny someone on one of the other threads said that this thread had died because of stuff that had happened.
Truth is its now the same as all the others

Roussette · 29/04/2020 19:17

Yep, ain't that the truth

Dandyish · 29/04/2020 19:59

I post lots of links, because I believe in this particular thread ppl like evidence based info (not from the rags so much)

The tweets from the un-named law student is especially evidence-based Grin

As for siding with tabloids - I’d hope most of us are ‘siding’ with the law winning, regardless of which party that would most benefit.

LittleBearPad · 29/04/2020 20:13

It's a pity that they released it today - it was filmed about a month ago.

Pish- if they’d posted it yesterday or tomorrow they wouldn’t have distracted attention from Will and Kate’s anniversary. That would never have done.

I wonder what they’ll do to overshadow Charlottes birthday.

Cerseirys · 29/04/2020 20:39

Maybe if they posted it on the Queen's birthday but a 9th wedding isn't really a huge thing is it?

Mummy195 · 29/04/2020 20:40

What is frenetic is ppl posting daily, several times a day about someone all the while claiming to be 'disgusted' by this person.

As I said, every now and again we post our own opinions, but we don't just let that take over the thread as if we are posting facts or anything with any background. As we don't post that often we like to now and again post with some content from sources who are mostly credible. Now and again we post our own opinion or some thoughts we found interesting.

The ppl complaining about our sources would sound more credible if they actually went around to contracting threads and said the same thing about their sources.

As these charity organisations were under the Sussex Royal umbrella, I wonder if they have to go through the red tape of approval before anything they publish.
eg. If Smartworks spoke to MM, they ask if they can publish this video, so mm says well we have to ask BP if its ok as this was under Royal duties. So they send a memo to BP who then have to approve as and when they can (bearing in mind they may have lots of work to approve, and this may not have been urgent priority).

Confused
ArriettyJones · 29/04/2020 20:57
Hmm

No but it's the fact you can almost put money on the fact theres anything which will put any of the Senior Royals in the media those two will do something to ensure they get coverage.

Sooner the media stop playing their games the better

Mummy195 · 29/04/2020 21:01

contradicting threads

It was not a press release though.

The charity just twitted it.

Newspapers could have chosen to ignore.

I can’t tell if this is your serious supposition or not.

Can't tell if you think this is a clever come back or not.

The RF IG account tweeted today about things Sophie and Camilla have been doing. I don't think W&K have a monopoly on this date.

ArriettyJones · 29/04/2020 21:30

It’s quite a simple question @Mummy195

Is this really how you think it works?

Who are these people @Mummy195? I don’t want to assume you mean me when you don’t.

LaMarschallin · 29/04/2020 21:48

Is it the minimum make up that makes her look young?

Umm...

I don't know.

It might be the make up - she's probably easy on the eye without it, to be fair.

LittleBearPad · 29/04/2020 22:05

Maybe she’s using the touch up my appearance feature on Zoom 😂

Notmyrealname855 · 29/04/2020 22:16

Mummy195 if you’re into accuracy, why did you try and dig out misleading comments to that FT article and state my post (listing the top 10 comments to the same article) as follows: “So someone went and trawled for negative comments on the FT coverage of FT...”.

CanIHaveAPenguinPlease · 29/04/2020 22:59

Mummy could you please explain why you think Megan might not get a fair trial? I’m not sure I follow why you would think that. I know I should but I’m feeling a little dense today.

Notmyrealname855 · 29/04/2020 23:31

Slightly off topic but... does anyone think MM might be pregnant? Would explain maybe why their exit from the RF was so urgent (imagine going through that press again...), if you had two pregnancies fairly close you’d be pretty keen to avoid the media glare again (whatever you think of the media at the moment). Would be nice if Archie had a sibling :) equally, I’m usually against pregnancy speculation and almost don’t want to post this but would be some lovely news! And maybe having Archie made H&M realise what they really wanted for their family and made it all a bit more real?

Viviennemary · 29/04/2020 23:33

Thry have now withdrawn fom royal duties. It needs to be made clear that this kind of publicity is not acceptable.

Wolfgirrl · 29/04/2020 23:51

I think if Meghan was pregnant she wouldn't be out and about volunteering. But I did wonder, i thought in recent pics her face looked a bit swollen like when she was pregnant with Archie. I remember seeing the photos of her after Archie was born, her face looked totally different but I couldn't work out why?
