There was much confusion on when K&W apparently did a trademark on Headfit. It was reported as Will's project, while DefenceHQ had previously said it was spearheaded by Harry. All in all, it looks like it's sitting with the Royal Foundation.

Not really, they donated the BBC money towards charity. They also went about delivering food to ppl with life threatening illnesses. It's good to hear they are still keeping in touch with their charities too.

Harry's email to Holly's family was very thoughtful. That's the kind of thing he could do a lot more of and would be well regarded.

The donation was agreed last year. It's news worthy because there's now a total figure for it, but it's not something new they've done. Is the food delivery going to be a regular gig?

It really ought to be bloody obvious that having yet another release on a day which clashes with a Royal event is going to attract criticism, so why on earth do they keep undermining the good with utterly crap timing?

They're either really unlucky, or have a team who don't pay enough attention to avoiding entirely predictable awkwardnesses. Or they're doing it on purpose, but I don't want to think anyone would be that nasty and that desperate. But if they don't cut it out, I can see where public opinion is going to to end up.

Since I started paying attention to what H&M are doing, and have read about the frequent clashes with royal dates and appearances, it really has put a different gloss on their actions. I used to think they were just bad at PR. I think it’s more than that, actually.

Most of us don’t have a royal calendar on our desk, so of course it isn’t immediately obvious to the casual observer how often these clashes are caused by the Sussex duo.

So I guess tomorrow we could hear what the judge says about the evidence that rags want dismissed from the lawsuit. He said within the week, but I have not heard anything about a specific trial date. Tabloids are not denying they are lies, just do not want them in and say irrelevant. I'm sure that judge had to pour himself a drink after that trial. Lots of digs from dodgy reporters after that, as this case could potentially open the floodgates to a lot of lawsuits if they were to win.
Hope they get a fair trial. Isn't it a bit strange for newsgroup to be report on someone who is currently suing them, even reporting about an ongoing active trial at times.

There was no pandemic last year.

It's been reported that they spoke to the Archbishop of Canterbury about how they could be helping. He advised that there was this need for this particular charity. Feeding Britain was not even part of the original 7 charities they chose.

Just scroll back on this thread itself you will find ppl who with the tabloids to win.

The food delivery probably would not have been possible if they had stayed in the UK with the RF. It did help the charity get more publicity for sure, I remember someone tweeted that they did not even know it existed, and now they will donate.

There is nothing stopping H from sending messages like the one to the little girl or even messages of support to military etc. and he has not stopped from the looks of it.

HMQE birthday is the only one I recall being recognised. I don't even remember any of the other royals birthdays being a thing. I don't even know when PC birthday is. I would assume that everyone gets on with their work as usual.

Mamamia456 It's William and Catherine's wedding anniversary today, the Smartworks video is from a month ago, yet they chose today to release it. It's not the first time they've 'clashed' and it's starting to look like more than a coincidence.

OK 'event' might be pushing it - it's more a family matter only marked publicly on social media - but as previous Sussex releases have coincided with Cambridge family birthdays it's getting to look like a pattern.

Which is unfortunate, because so easily avoided.

There's another Cambridge birthday in the offing, so perhaps the pattern will break them, as it is just very unlucky coincidence (rpthere just can't be that long a run od Cantab coincidence)

Winnie - Oh I thought you meant something important. That's not worth getting worked up over. Does anyone even remember family wedding anniversaries, I certainly don't, unless it was say one of the big one's like a 25th or 50th, and even then I'd only remember because they were probably having a celebration.
