PelicanPie yes - the mannerisms of talking in a slow, deliberate way as if something profound is being said (while it’s actually superfluous tripe) is very amusing to witness

Random question. Are all members of the royal family DBS checked? Considering how close they get to kids, all the hugging etc.

Nobody needs a DBS check just to be in the presence or even have physical contact with children. They’re not going to be left alone with them.

At the moment I'm not sure the royals would be best advised to do any hugging or kissing of people they meet!

I wouldn't worry as the RF are pretty good at putting on a public face ... though it can't be easy knowing the media are positively quivering to get an "unguarded moment" shot

However dysfunctional the family might be they're not stupid, and I'd expect this event to be choreographed to the max

Don’t they just? It is very impressive and nothing less that what is expected of them, or what they deliver, of course.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but I distinctly recall feeling uneasy watching the so-called “Fab Four” on duty. Everyone looked so uneasy although they were trying so hard to disguise it. MM was loving it, of course, and not trying in the least to behave like a new member. Ugh. Cringe

Actually I think this is a very good point. There have been a few occasions recently of members of the RF shaking hands without gloves, and hugging. They would do better demonstrating the "elbow bump" greeting as an example to others.

True enough, but then for me it's not so much the style - which actually I can admire - as the content, which on the whole involves little but buzz phrases and platitudes

TBF Meghan's not alone in this, and in a world where quick Insta quotes are the thing it's no doubt popular; it's just that, where important subjects are concerned, I'd hope for something more

Weirdly that photograph was fine when I copied it to my photographs. Now it’s fuzzy. AND I can’t find it anywhere else? Call me paranoid but...!!

Meghan looks like she wants to bite Harry in that car photo. I'm not sure she looks like she's angry though, more like she has a blister or is easing off painful shoes 

That photograph reminds me of the time the Mail altered a picture of Catherine Zeta Jones to make her look terrible so they could do a "what's Catherine done to her face" faux concern thing.

But even if that's not the case it's ONE photograph and everyone has a bad photo taken from time to time. I doubt it means anything.

If so I truly truly do not get it. BOTH of them leaving their baby behind on another continent I mean you couldn't get back all that quickly in the event of something happening could you?
