I believe ppl indulged enough on this nit picky carrier issue that was later debunked by some baby carrier makers as confirmation that the baby was safe carried in what could be his normal feeding position. But this had a thread all of it's now, so I can't be bothered with it.

I agree, and I am a bit concerned by the suggestion they’ve set the foundation up in a State that allows a very small percentage of proceeds to go to charity. So that H&M would then draw a salary or make a profit from the foundation. I am curious to see if that turns out to be accurate.

Everything they do? Certain category of things they do? A fixed percentage threshold of things they do?

Or do you want us all to commit to grinning manically about everything that happens to them? Even if they contract COVID 19 tomorrow? I really don’t understand how anyone with a functioning brain can undertake to continuing performative “happiness for them”.

As I said, either a pap walk or press intrusion, depending on your interpretation. None of us actually know.

However, if it was a pap walk, that wouldn’t mean they were threatening to sue themselves, would it? It would mean they (or one of them) set something up and then they issued a statement complaining strongly about it and threatening to sue the media.

If that was it, it’s hardly unprecedented. Diana used to do similar. A lot. Notably in her leaking and then vehement denial of her relationship with Hasnat Khan, which apparently made him quite cross.

Who knows what it feels like to be internationally famous royalty? Maybe those incidents occur because it feels somehow justified when you consider yourself under siege? Maybe other reasons.

Maybe this time it wasn’t that at all. None of us know for sure.

Do you have concerns for other charity entities in the US? That is where they live btw. Are you concerned that other well known charities like those helped by the Obamas, Buffets, Gates ? Is that something that has been done over there?

Agreed Mummy the couple were not going to threaten to sue themselves and that pic is now several weeks old and has been thoroughly nit picked eggs as well and there are lots of other threads to nitpick on anyway, also some very interesting ones in the other place

The allegation was that they’d filed documents in some far flung state like Arizona. I’ll have to look it up. Neither one of them have ever lived in the State concerned. That was the whole point of that particular news story.

There is only one Archewell registered with the US Patent and Trademark office and that is a charity in LA.

Delaware. That was it, and it was first reported in months ago. Long before the announcement of Archewell. So maybe they have multiple “charitable entities”.

I must say that I’m intrigued that a broadsheet like The Telegraph is all over this story.

She has a company called Frim Fram Inc registered in Delaware. It moved from California. Delaware is very discreet about companies registered there and attracts the uber rich. So yes, it’s separate from Archewell. Maybe it is a company through which she puts her income and expenses?

If there is any hint that they intend hoovering off a fee or expenses from any charity/philanthropy style company that they set up, I hope they clarify their intent.
They really need to do that to counter the negative press.

You're clutching at straws with both those posts. The church service was nearly 2 months ago, there's obviously nothing negative to find currently.
