A couple trying to do some good and seeing negativity and nastiness at every turn. Even the name is mocked. Pathetic

But what good are they trying to do, how will they accomplish it, how will they fund it, are there not 100s of 1000s of people better equipped to do it?

How much money will go to the causes they want to support, and how much will be spent on their lifestyle/security etc?

These are very important questions, to which we never get any answers beyond "train online to become a counsellor".

They need a business plan, a comms plan, a growth plan - perhaps they have them, but given that they seem to go off at half cock every time I'd not be donating to their Archewell Foundation until the details are crystal clear.

It is one of the reasons I live 4,000 miles away from my family. I learned the long, hard way that distance is the only way our relationship works without going NC. Small doses spread out over years. They fly to see us once every year or every two years to see their grandchildren and we go there every few years.

Why not give them a chance and time to answer these questions? Reports were only released what, last week, and it hasn’t been launched only the patents done for it if I’ve read correctly. They haven’t said a launch date so obviously it is still a work in progress.

I agree it best to wait until details are crystal clear, but don’t understand this rush to know every little tidbit when it has yet to be finalised.

If they want privacy for their son, why are they naming this thing with a name so similar to his ? I thought they wanted a quiet life for him.

There's lots to the word 'bash' too.

But those are the words that get used.
I'd even welcome the taboidese "slammed" for a change now and I used to think that was lazy use of language.

This is just a comment on style, btw; not a suggestion that anybody should be "hated/disliked" or "bashed/slammed".

They've only confirmed the name of their enterprise so I assume the answers to these questions are being worked on as we speak. I suppose in an ideal world they wouldn't have launched until this was all done but the Telegraph breaking the story meant they were put on the back foot.

Absolutely. Lots of variations of words.

I do laugh that detractors think they are owed chapter and verse of how a Foundation they are setting up is going to be run, its objectives, its finances, its business plan, its comms plan, its growth plan... all within days.

Oh my goodness, yes or should I say no, I don't know. It was due to be May wasn't it. I can't imagine it will happen.

Whilst I cannot stand PA, I do feel sorry for her. What a shit time she's had what with her dad and the interview and all of that, then her wedding probably going tits up.

I believe that Princess Beatrice's wedding has been cancelled for the moment, which is a great shame.

I love a royal wedding.

Beatrice has had an awful run of luck. It's not her fault her dad is disgusting. I think it just proved impossible to have any wedding celebration at all. In her shoes I would postpone for a year. Sad though.
