He does look a lot healthier I think, definitely credit to Meghan. I think what we eat and how we exercise has a huge impact on our general well being Smile. I think it is possible that baby Archie was getting a lot a home made, super yummy weening food as well. Smile

I wondered if anyone would find this article interesting. I did !

medium.com/@pngwrites/the-profound-silence-b362ae009c54

It sets out how MM has been treated against the backdrop and history of the RF. It is a bit lengthy but well worth reading, a measured and fair article I would say. And I heartily agree with all of it.

chrisseldah1 · 06/04/2020 14:09

@Roussette

Thank you for the article, I agree entirely with all of it. The whole drama with M was like watching Get Out tbh. I was rooting for her to leg it , it was never ever going to get better.

From this article it’s very clear that none of them are perfect in fact some have done things that Meghan would have been crucified for.

artemisalways · 06/04/2020 14:23

Happy Archie Day everyone.

Roussette · 06/04/2020 17:20

Yes chriss I thought it was a fascinating article.

Do not tell me Archie is a year old?!

Just looked, he's 11 months old hehe

ClapForCats · 06/04/2020 17:39

www.ok.co.uk/royal/meghan-harry-archie-day-initiative-21822945

Not his birthday. An initiative started by his fans, apparently.

yoloPenguinsEatfish · 06/04/2020 18:31

WTAF?? how can a baby less than a year old have fans? These people are bonkers. I hope nobody is going to get ripped off through this 'initiative'.

Ilovellamasandpenguins · 06/04/2020 18:57

Poor child - I hope this is not a sign of things to come. I wouldn’t have thought Harry and Meghan would be happy about this.

It’s exploiting a baby. It’s very distasteful.

Samcro · 06/04/2020 19:05

Sadly there are odd people out there.
No doubt meghan will be blamed for it.

It will likely lead to lots of scams, sadly, as who knows if the charity exists or if the charity's accounts are above board when you are directed to a bank account in Wherever.
It's also strange that it's "friends" who have set this up. Why not offer their names and business details for clarity?

HarryDaylight · 06/04/2020 19:10

I don't think that Meghan wll be blamed for it Samcro
I think she and Harry would have happily put their names to it if it originated from their offices.

chrisseldah1 · 06/04/2020 19:37

If the charities are genuinely benefiting fro the who Archie day I suppose that’s good. But it does make me me uncomfortable tbh, couldn’t it have been called something else? . Doubt H & M would have actually sanctioned something like this . It’s just .. umm don’t know the right word for it

chrisseldah1 · 06/04/2020 19:38

from the whole Archie day meant to say

HarryDaylight · 06/04/2020 19:46

I'm only concerned about the issues that will arise with scams. It's dangerous to be so obtuse when providing full details. Even if the charities exist, do you know what the state of their accounts are?
Some people are very trusting when they see slick presentations naming famous people, and Harry and Meghan need to confirm if this has come from their offices.
If they do confirm, great!

ArchePenguin · 07/04/2020 09:14

Archewell

phoenixrosehere · 07/04/2020 11:12

@Roussette

Great article. It makes a lot of points that I have myself thinking when reading and seeing the articles about Meghan. There is a remarkable double standard that many refuse to see. The RF’s “supposed” silence says volumes as well as the media’s pushing out stories about Meghan when more important issues are going on. Barely anything said about Prince Andrew for awhile yet several stories about Meghan. I recall Prince William affair rumours reported in other countries’ newspapers but nearly silent in the UK, yet in the past the media was happy to report about the other royals rumoured affairs.

ClapForCats · 07/04/2020 11:22

It’s just .. umm don’t know the right word for it

Tacky as fuck?

Samcro · 07/04/2020 11:48

more important is the fact I got chocolate and a jigsaw today.

Archie Day is not from Meghan and Harry's office.

Just like Sussex Great Forest, it's from their supporters. People who feel that by extension, baby Archie was also picked on, called a doll, referred to as 'Archie' as if he does not exist. Nothing tacky or weird about supporting him, ppl with children may feel a sting when a pop is taken at a baby.

There is no scam here, you donate to Global Giving which does thorough vetting and your money goes directly to charities.

The highlighted charities are child related. This is to help them through the pandemic.

chrisseldah1 · 07/04/2020 12:11

@Samcro, oh I need some chocolate. You manage to get Easter eggs?

Cerseirys · 07/04/2020 12:12

Now what? This sounds very odd.

It's the name of their charitable enterprise and it might not be to everyone's taste but it means something to them. I'm not going to jump on their choice of name, isn't better to wait and see if they do anything of substance first?

ClapForCats · 07/04/2020 12:18

@Cerseirys

I meant that it was odd to launch this during a global pandemic, when people's thoughts are not on the doings of the Sussexes.

I am not holding my breath to see if they do anything of substance.

So far they're moved to Canada, said they would not move to the US while Trump was President, then moved to the US because the Canadian government would not pay for their security.

They have also announced that they planned to collaborate with the Queen, then announced that they did not plan to do so.

I just wish they would shut up.

Cerseirys · 07/04/2020 12:22

They're not launching it - the Telegraph found out they'd filed documents with the US Patent Office (which to be honest they could've done before the current situation) and they merely confirmed it.
