Here's a follow on to the last thread, which was really enjoyable.

My favourite bit of the Harry quotes is about flying

'We have to fly on commercial planes all over the world. Nowhere near as much as most people who do it for a night or weekends.'

A friend of mine used to work with one of Harry’s friends.
They flew to Belize (from London) for the weekend “because the coke was better”

He’s from a circle where using a private jet is like taking an Uber.
In his overprivileged mind, he is being frugal only using PJs 5 or 6 times a year.

Mulling over that hoax call, I really dont think it can be true, it must be a Harry soundalike

I'm no expert in these things, but it didn't sound like Harry's usual speech patterns to me
Then again I'd have thought it unwise for the Mail to take a punt like that when there's already a case pending (?) but who knows with these things ... after all they've no doubt taken legal advice too

It is strange that a person can do so much charity work that brings them into contact with average people who demonstrate the very real fact that no, jetting PJ several times, let alone once a year, is far from ordinary, and yet still think it's normal and not get that they are privileged.

So assuming the prank call is real, some people think William should have been nicer to Harry who has just derided William's new environmental prize?

Golly, some people really do expect so much of William and Kate but so little of Harry. It is odd.

I also did predict the press had something up their sleeves hence being so nice to Meghan over the past week. They are sneaky the press.

On an allied point, I noticed last night there were quite a few posts on the (latest) deleted thread from posters who've been going through terrible times ... warmest thoughts to you all

I just wonder how the penguins got to Belarus airport in the first place... perhaps it is on the coast and they swam there? After all, they can't fly.

And actually, thinking about it, I'm pretty sure that penguins live at the South Pole, not the North Pole.

In fact I just googled it, and they don't live at the North Pole, that's Father Christmas.

I don't think it is expecting very much of W&K to put on a game face and be seen to be polite in public. Indeed, that is the one requirement of their (incredibly over privileged and over rewarded) role. Meghan & Edward showed them how it is done.

That would seem the obvious solution now I think about it. Hypothetically of course.

To be honest, it looked to me that Kate said hello to meghan but didn't leap over the chairs to embrace them. It was all so very stage managed.

And I would rather none of them were funded by the tax payer. Although this is becoming a bit like dynasty now - but who is Alexis and who is Krystal?

Anyway, I've now read a few articles on the calls and Harry doesn't seem to have said anything very bad at all - he comes across as pretty reasonable to me. If this is the best a hoaxer can get out of him, it rather confirms his decency. He is no Prince Andrew.

I've just caught DH watching a video on twitter of a cat and a crow having an argument. He might know (re penguins).

I'm not for a nanosecond saying that HaM don't have their own problems, but I do think they need to put them in context and take a long, hard look at themselves, and this is underlined by the far less advantaged ladies from the deleted thread last night, whose courage, determination and humour in the teeth of adversity provide a humbling example. IMHO.

If that were the case, you'd think W&K would have made more of an effort to appear publically supportive, when they know how these nasty pranks can end in tragedy. It actually makes their cold shouldering of H&M seem even more unpleasant, if that is possible.
