I agree 100%, she's loving the limelight. What struck me was in howmany of those photos, she's looking straight at the cameras. But, if she didn't like the limelight, she wouldn't have chosen the career she did.

Carrying their own umbrella...times are obviously hard. Boo fucking hoo!

Cannot get over the hideousness of H's suit if I'm honest! what a horrible colour, it's like some sort of minor rock star trying to look booted and suited but with a bit of an edge...

I do think M is beautiful, although I dont like the zip up the back of the dress look (personal opinion).

I'd be clinging on to anyone close to me if I was wearing those heels...

I disagree. A couple of the shots I've seen, she has a rictus grin fixed on her face and Harry looks nervous and anxious.

M seems not realise that the expressions of adoration and affection have to be incidental and unshowy to be convincing.

Not affected, timed for the camera and effortful. The purposeful eye gazing looks like something you'd join a class to learn.

However, in the interests of fairness, Kate has also been going the distance on displays of happiness.
But then, she and William haven't fucked off to do their own thing, whilst still expecting the British public to fund them, so I fully admit I'm not looking at her under the same microscope.

I agree with the manufactured rictus grim. I’ve just watched it on the news. I don’t like the dress now I’ve seen more footage of it. The colour is lovely but it is too corporate and doesn’t seem to fit very well like a lot of her clothes.
There are some genuine moments of love I think. I do think they love each other but the whole thing is a bit try too hard.

Actually I was thinking about the perception of beauty.

IMO, all my closest friends are absolutely beautiful, even if they have cross eyes, snaggle teeth, frizzy hair, name your choice of what doesnt make someone 'beautiful'.

Because beauty is what is in your heart, your soul.

And I cant see that in M any more (and I did use to think she was beautiful), maybe because she's an actress (but then... Julia Roberts), maybe because she's behaved IMO very badly towards the RF "the family she never had".

First thing that struck me - her teeth! Oh gosh, they look false! Too even, far too white, and why? Her teeth were fine before - quite even and nice.

I'm sure she has her teeth regularly whitened but I think it's just the dramatic lip colour that is making them glow a bit.

Even the photos from the Goring earlier looked like her teeth were much, much whiter than previously.

I’ve been out tonight so just caught up with the photos. I read some of the comments her before seeing them and thought the KK comparison sounded harsh, but having checked out the pictures I agree! She does look different I’ve always thought she was extremely beautiful but now think she’s tipped over into looking a little false. As for their smiles - too amped up. Not quite reaching the eyes. I thought the same of the photos of Harry in Scotland at the end of last week.

Why did I watch the videos of them speaking at the awards? I'm all cross now before bedtime.

It seems to look like something is fake is a recent fashion trope (viz: eyebrows).

Elder DD has phenomenally long, thick eyelashes (I know I'm biased, but honestly, they are).
So she buys ridiculously long and thick
false eyelashes because "nobody would notice them otherwise"!

She also has her teeth bleached (cheaper because she worked at a dental practice during university holidays and they're very kind) to an extent where her sibling, OH and I tease her...

And even she doesn't glow in the dark like that.

Possibly probably because it's a reputable dental practice and does what it thinks best, not what the client (or their money) demands.

Certainly agree about the rictus grin. Unlike other PP I don't like the dress. It is very ordinary, and unsuited to the occasion IMO. Also, when a dress is that simple it needs to fit perfectly and MMs doesn't fit her - it seems too long in the waist, or something and seems to be riding up and bunching - maybe too tight as well?
