Well, yes, that is another anomoly. It has been reported that PH loves Africa and even years ago wanted to live there and look after the animals. How does this square with his love of hunting?

Hard graft? Tbh they are incredibly well rewarded considering the little they do. It’s just not all that glam like Megan was expecting.

I totally agree with you, @SingingLily. Actually though, I don't think she cares what any of us Brits think any more.

And that's just fine by me. Never used to have an opinion on her at all. I do now though, and it's not pretty.

Why is she visiting refuges and stuff now? In what capacity? Why not wait a bit until things are clearer?

I should think she's anxious to 'sell' herself to the Canadians. Particularly left leaning ones as well as left leaning politicians. She's signifying where she stands politically and outlining the sorts of concerns she/they will be involved with. No topic hotter than CC at the moment and the ridiculous rules of cross/intersectionality mean you can pivot from that stance onto many other causes.

It's an attempt to garner support for keeping and ultimately paying for them to remain there. I suspect she's being advised by the Mulroney woman who must understand something about politics her FIL is the former Prime Minster of Canada after all.

I also find it interesting that Mulroney apparently attempted to put pressure on Gina Cowne to 'amend' a statements she made to the MoS

This court case looks like it could lead to embarrassment for a few people, although I can't see Mr Markle actually going through with it all. He found the idea of attending the wedding stressful and has a heart condition, so no one could blame him.
