It was instant the vet thinks. It was a fast road. We live on a cul de sac and i never really worried that much about traffic, I had no idea he roamed as far as that road. He was a black cat as well so that doesn’t help. A passerby saw it happen apparently and picked him up. I’m so appreciative of that because it meant we could have the paw prints etc and have opportunity to say goodbye and have him cremated. There wasn’t a mark on him.

I think they should pull the Stone Roses song and replace it with this.

And also we weren’t left wondering what happened when he didn’t come home. I’d only fed him and given a fuss an hour before the vet called me. I have another cat as well and she’s just a bit lost atm wondering where he is I think.

That was really kind of the passerby. A similar thing happened to me years ago. A passerby put him in a box and brought him to my house. It helps to know someone cared enough to do that.

Him wanting to leave has been popping up for years, but it was always packaged as 'that poor boy behind the coffin' and never really taken seriously.

Who exactly was she having to ask for permission and to do what?
She lived with her husband and was mainly on maternity leave or holiday. She's alleged to have treated staff pretty snappily so I doubt she was asking them for permission to piss.
