To wish Meghan Markle had realised

I know they are only people and we don't know them. I just can't but feel abit miffed she's stolen away the lovely Prince Harry. I watched the itv program this morning and her saying about the stiff upper lip British thing really annoyed me. I get some of it is bound to be hard. But she was happy to marry Harry. Typical that the women who finally gets the ring decides the British life/monachy isn't for her. Well that's ok Meghan. Don't worry. It's not for you. So therefore let's mess up traditional British ways and destroy the future outlook of the royal family because you can't be arsed with it. I know I shouldn't be annoyed. But such a shame he didn't meet someone to be by his side and support him. She just can't follow him and be his support like Kate is for Will. She has to be equal or above.

I know there have been some dark times. But he's so Lucky in many ways. To be that comfortable. Luxurious houses, the best food, clothes etc. Being who he is is extremely unique and special. I just think if he can't take his role seriously he should loose his title. Meghan has massively disrespected the Brits. She's ran away and probably told Harry she's done with the UK. How can she be so comfortable stealing him from his family and the life he's always had. I think Diana would be sad to see Harry like this. He seems so sad too. Extremely low. She hasn't been able to adapt to life here. What if Harry can't adapt over there? She's never going to come back here after this of he misses home. I think he doesn't realise how much he's going to miss his family. Especially William. Now they both have little ones! You just presumed the kids would grow up together.

All my memories of the royal family are positive because of Harry and William. They put the fun into and modernize what would be otherwise an old fashioned stuffy affair on my opinion. They are the next generation. Without Harry it just feels alot smaller. Incredibly sad they couldn't enjoy a life in the UK. Ofcourse Meghan needs to see her folks still. I am not sure what there plans are now really. I don't like Meghan now personally. she's done what alot of people said she would do. She was never right for the role! I bet the queen has said she will support them because there's nothing else she can do. She remains proffesional at all times. I doubt she will get to see Harry or Archie many more times now. I find it all sad. Meghan doesn't exactly have a close family. Her mum could of visited the UK more if they missed eachother. I think it's a disgrace how she didn't take her role more seriously!

Get rid of them all
Useless

Choosername · 13/01/2020 22:45

Fuck-ing-heelllll.

Get a life.

Schoolisback1973 · 13/01/2020 22:52

OMG!! I have read it all these last few days with H&M but this one!
Leave them be!

I've read a few Sun articles on the couple so I think it's safe to say I know them pretty well. Meghan is a real bitch and Harry is basically being held hostage at this point. I know that sounds a bit OTT, but I once watched a youtube video about Meghan so honestly, I'm pretty clued up on what they're both really like as people.

SanAntonio · 13/01/2020 22:54

SanAntonio My heart bleeds, I mean it really isn’t like you make out. Photos of Harry and Meghan are few and far between....since the “birth” anyway. They get plenty of privacy. Of course they have pampered lives, absolutely everything is done for them.

Would you swap with them? Would you honestly want that life for your children?

The royals get limited privacy- pop to the supermarket- photographed- how many pictures of Kate putting her shopping in the boot at Waitrose with a security person closeby do we need? Today pictured taking her children to school. Close up pictures of the Queen yesterday and a story about a hearing aid. Comments on their clothes, weight, hair. People believing that they have some special relationship with them- and so all of this is ok.

I wouldn't want their life for a second.

SoupDragon · 13/01/2020 22:55

Have you been drinking or taking drugs, OP?

ItsReallyNotOk · 13/01/2020 22:55

Such a ghastly, conniving dupitiplous bitch - wanting to be EQUAL to a man.

Christ on a cracker! Alert the church! The wimins is here!

Amortentia · 13/01/2020 22:57

This is getting beyond ridiculous now. Two people in their 30s want to live as autonomous adults but because one is related to the heir to the throne they must be held captive and wheeled out for photo ops when the public demand. 😂

There is no place for a monarchy now and the family should be reduced to immediate heirs. I think most of them are pretty despicable and don’t give two shiny shites about their subjects. I think Meghan spent some time around them and thought the same and decided to get away form them, I wouldn’t let most of them around my children.

Be honest- you didnt read them- you looked at the pictures. That makes you virtually a confident. They are just like your family.

I would bind their feet so they cant walk. That worked well in other dynasties in the past.

turnthebiglightoff · 13/01/2020 23:01

Are you 15? Pointless thread.

OutFoxxedByABadger · 13/01/2020 23:02

"ere, she's stolen our 'Arry!! Giv 'Im back!!"

They. Are. Human. Beings. First.

Stop treating this like a fucking soap opera.

Pleeeeez tell me this is a pisstake - I'm sorry but I think that's genuinely one of the funniest things I've read on here lol

Mummy195 · 13/01/2020 23:07

Guess you were reading these headlines then OP

Mnhq have moved it to the Royal Family thread Grin Still trending though...

SanAntonio · 13/01/2020 23:07

"ere, she's stolen our 'Arry!! Giv 'Im back!!"

I think that Meghan stole the OPs dream of being princess.

CarpeSocolatum · 13/01/2020 23:09

Sorry that was for the Megxit thread

Pinkarsedfly · 13/01/2020 23:10

I’m sure you’re not as mad as a fish in a bush, OP.

You do sound it though.

Iamthewombat · 13/01/2020 23:13

Steal him back, OP! Kidnap him! Do it for England!

Paul Burrell will know the right people. Him and the queen. They regularly discuss the dark powers at work in this country. Those two and M15 know everything.

Speaking of Paul Burrell...

I think Diana would be sad to see Harry like this.

Paul will know the answer to that, too. Waste no time, OP. Set off for Cheshire now.

Cam77 · 13/01/2020 23:16

I can’t stand the monarchy and all it entails but I think H&M seem like reasonably decent people - albeit filthy rich, ridiculously privileged, entitled and deluded decent people. And people tend not to fair too well within that family - see Princess Diana, so they are on the right path in getting their feet out the door before they are pushed out, that’s for sure.

Cam77 · 13/01/2020 23:16

decent people tend not to

1forAll74 · 13/01/2020 23:18

What on earth are you talking about Laundrylady62. Do you personally know Harry? And anyone would think he was going to the moon the way you talk. It's not too far to Canada,or LA, so he can hop on a jet,and come to visit you anytime..

You will have to believe, that these plans are what Harry and Meghan wish to do,and you are bound to be still seeing lots of lovely photo's of them when they go abroad, so stop your worrying now.

Cam77 · 13/01/2020 23:21

The British Monarchy is one fucked up and dysfunctional institution, so the further H&M can get away from it the better for them I’m sure. Sad that his brother is stuck with it, but who could blame Harry if he wanted a comparatively normal (if still high profile) life on the States rather than a pointless life spent wearing silly outfits and shadowing his dad and brother AKA the important ones.

WotchaTalkinBoutWillis · 13/01/2020 23:26

After reading some of these threads, I've come to the conclusion I'm not surprised they're sodding off.
So would I to try and leave the utter over invested bat shittery behind! Grin
I'm thinking of it from the angle -
They're new parents.
Harry lost his mum at a young age (with a 12 year old myself I can't begin to imagine Sad )
His mum was hounded relentlessly by the paparazzi (old enough to remember it vividly)
Now his wife is.
With added social media to boot, no brainer to think if MN and social media existed in the 90s Diana would have to put up with all these crap threads, Piers Morgan frothing on Twitter etc....)
Why would he want to play it all out again like a history replay with his own wife and child?
He's fairly far down the line in relation to the throne.
I don't blame them for wanting to take a step back personally.

TheYearOfTheDog · 13/01/2020 23:27

He will still exist, even if he's in Canada!

Makes no difference to most of us let's be honest, I won't be invited round either way!
