Poor woman looks like she was about to cry Sad

I think Harry has had enough. It looks like they've had some sort of bust up before they went on the balcony.

I think trooping the colour represents soldiers does it? If so, Harry might take it a bit seriously.
It looked to me like she turned to him, he said turn around, she did, then she turned back around saying 'I can hear him crying' and Harry said 'you have to turn around'.
She's really not getting this royal stuff right is she?

SoupDragon, lots of them were having a chat but then the national anthem started and they stopped and faced forward; he was still turning around and not facing forwards.

Was she not just blinking because there was maybe a glare?

She's really not getting this royal stuff right is she? how dare she put her mothering instincts to her new born ahead of her service to the country. Doesn't she know we own her and Archie is really ours.

Fucking hell. I pay no attention to royals stuff and have never looked at a tweet about them but I looked at that one and I am aghast at the comments.

Why so much hate? Just racism, or jealousy or what?

I told my hubby to shut up and gave him a glare as he was talking as a bride turned up to a wedding last week. I love him to bits and have no plans to leave.

No one knows she was doing this anymore than we know she was saying "ooh I right fancy a latte!"

Hang on, there’s a royal family board on Mumsnet?

Well, being a member of the royal family is a job. If she's on that balcony, or attending events or whatever then she is, in fact, working. She's doing her job. All mother's who are working and in the middle of their working day, need to put aside their children during that time. If an emergency happened, you'd get a call and you'd deal with it. A baby crying isn't an emergency and she was working. They have nannies, so she has it easier than most.

If it wasn't anything to do with the baby crying, then she needed to be told to turn around because her job required it.

Meh, she has a 4 week old baby. I wouldn't deny her coffee

Leave Meghan and William alone for goodness sake. She probably heard the baby cry and wanted to go, but was told to turn around (as their nanny/staff would tend to the child). There is a full clip on Twitter that shows them smiling and chatting afterwards, on that balcony!!!

I think I was still in pjs and scrunchies at this point!

I still am... 17 years on. Grin

Ah it's so tough. You can almost 'feel' that moment. Haven't we all been in that scrappy/underslept/just had a baby place with our OHs? We just haven't had it splashed all over the media!

It was nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s protocol and to be expected

Where did the crying baby come from?

She was chatting quite animatedly, didn’t look put out until Harry told her to to turn around.

Had enough of what OP?

It looks to me like 2 stressed people leaving their son for the first time and struggling through early parenthood. Surely it would be less normal if they always look perfect and happy because that isnt having a one month old and leaving him without you.

Meghan looks like that to me stressed and wanting to get back to her child

You know, maybe they had a row that morning?
It happens and is very common when you have your first baby . it's such a shock.
Maybe Harry's nose is out of joint now that he is not getting all Meghan's attention.

Oh gosh, this thread and the rest of the media speculation proves how people can twist any situation into a drama, just so they can bitch about it.
It's pretty fucking sad actually.

I really liked the" stand up William" moment.

Can't begin to imagine how bored shirtless the entire Royal family must be of listening to the sodding national anthem.

Maybe she thinks it’s all a big load of old bollocks and would rather be at home, wearing something comfy with her new baby

Horrible situation for Meghan as a new mother - really feel for her.

So, he wouldn't have been telling her to "turn round" given he was still turning to look back.
