Poor woman looks like she was about to cry Sad

I think Harry has had enough. It looks like they've had some sort of bust up before they went on the balcony.

It was half way down on the royals bit And I bumped it to show that Harry was grumpy in June so not my misogyny thank you.

Some serious hunting to resurrect this thread @GoFiguire. I suggest you find a more worthwhile hobby. Misogyny isn’t a good look.

Oh ffs. People need to get a life!!!!! Why are you bumping this shit @gofiguire? Do you have nothing in your own life so you have to obsess about a stranger?

So what if Harry did suggest to Meghan that she turn around? Hardly a hanging offence & definitely not something worth six pages on here or ridiculous press coverage. I doubt they thought any more of it.

Well did you think they were mannequins? People do generally have emotion.

I don't think it's Meghan bashing to remark on it. I actually feel for her. She didn't look comfortable on the balcony anyway. It's not just what he says, he raised his eyebrows and nodded forward. She definitely didn't look happy. It's a reminder how hard it is to marry into the royal family.

I read he wasnt speaking to any media people in an effort to build bridges with Meghan

Agree.
What I am curious about is the recent silence from Thomas and Samantha Markle .
I wonder if they have been paid off ?

Of course people can tell what he said. Lip reading is a thing. And a reliable thing at that. Not sure why folks are being so defensive about it. Clearly Harry isn't all sweetness and light. No one is.

Agree Bluntness. All this "she couldn't get to her baby!" tosh is actually quite cringey.

Harry looked serious, not annoyed and there is no way anyone can tell what was said. This is ridiculous speculation, real tabloid fodder.

I think imagining she can hear the baby cry is beyond bonkers.

However he very obviously looks annoyed and he clearly tells her twice to turn around and the second time she does it properly and looks upset about it/the way she was spoken to.

There is a man at the back, not sure who he is, who is watching rhe exchange with a look of consternation. Andrew is clearly ignoring it

I think she was trying to chat twice when they were supposed to be quiet and he pointed that out. 🤷🏼‍♀️

She looks more and more to me like a rabbit caught in the headlights, poor woman. All that awful stuffy protocol. Talk about life in a gilded cage.

I think people forget that Kate was hounded by the press for years over her family and her lack of work ethic. Now MM has come along, she's gone from "Waity Katie" to "Kate the Great".

The press were exactly the same with Diana and Fergie.

Op if you're not being nasty about them what does 'I think Harry's had enough' mean? Enough of what exactly? Can you imagine if someone came on here and said 'I've had enough of my wife. We've been married a year, she doesn't do what she's told at family events, she's had a baby 4 weeks ago and she had to leave him for a few hours and my family didn't talk to her' what would happen?

i remember seeing a snippet of the jubilee boat thing and an kate asking an official what she should do, you got to learn somehow,
not read thread, but as discussed at the time on another thread, camilla and charles are also talking and have to stop talking,

absolutely no big deal

I'm not being nasty about them at all. I am not keen on her but I actually felt sorry for MM!

Not bashing just sick of all the Harry and Megan shit in the press

I wish their family well but couldn't personally give a shit about them

How can anyone know for sure what Harry said unless they were there and the whole thing is just speculative nonsense.

Report
roisinagusniamh · 15/06/2019 08:39

I think it was the the manner in which Harry reminded her to turn around .
It looked like no one was talking to M on the balcony too.
I was not fit for going to the shop after my first baby let alone a public function !

I don't think it's even that she didn't know the protocol. I'm sure she's more than familiar with the concept of standing to attention for the national anthem. I think she'd just forgotten the order of events and he reminded her. In all the hubbub she didn't get what he was saying the first time, so he repeated himself. Really fail to see what the big deal is here.

I agree that it looks more like they are hearing their baby cry. I would have looked just like that if I was in that situation and couldn't calm get to my baby. He looks like he is concerned too.

It's not her National Anthem as she is American.
I've stood around feeling a bit of a tube at many US anthems, where they stand with their hand across their heart.
