How have you upset your cat today?

I coughed. Quietly.

I have upset my human teenagers in a million ways this morning so have thrown all my remaining energy into pleasing my cat in every possible way.

Seems to have worked. We are nodding smugly as we read this thread about how you have all let your cats down.

Gotta go, think he might want to go out ..... and I don't want him having to push out through the catflap when I could be opening the door for him myself ...

Nothing today so far but I am usually in trouble for only feeding him one breakfast, not letting him eat risotto and putting things he doesn't like in the food recycling. Also I took ds1 back to university which the cat wasn't impressed with.

Took the dragonfly he managed to catch and kill off him

Forced him to give me back the laptop.

And hauled him out from under the bed.

Made him come out of the bathroom.
Again.

Having a rough week and this thread has cheered me up a lot!

I had the temerity to let it rain this morning and the ninja cat is less than impressed!

I wouldn't let her wander around my shoulders while I was on a Teams call. I think she's gone off in a sulk now.

DH (cat’s favourite human) is away this week so he’s not terribly impressed anyway, but he was even more indignant when DS chucked his blazer on him. But you are a black cat sitting on a black chair in a dark room, come on! (And this is why he doesn’t like me.)

Employing workmen never goes down well. Today a plasterer interrupted her daily snooze and yesterday cleaner actually moved her off my bed.

Today the cat I do not own was upset that I had to use my car to go out while he was having a nice snooze on the roof. I had to tell him (or her) that they are NOT MY CAT!!! and to please get off the car.

DH offended next-door's cat by asking him kindly to go home.

I picked him up and put him infront of the cat flap as I refused to open the French doors for him

Mine is annoyed that it rained. He's also giving me the silent treatment because I wouldn't let him have a second dinner.

I used the laptop.
I did not run to pet her one nano second after seeing her again after 15 minutes.
Love her to bits!

The cat has added 2 more things to his list of grievances. Firstly I had the nerve to go to the toilet at 5:15. Despite 7 other people being in the house and perfectly capable of feeding him he yowled outside the bathroom until I came out. Then he got cross with me for putting his food bowl in the dishwasher after he'd finished.

He also gets cross with me because I never let him have ice cream.

Not magically finding a new type of food after trying several different types of pouches, all of which she's previously been fine with. Today they are all gross.

My dds cat (who we are visiting- dd not the cat) He loved me because I fed him ahead of schedule and gave him more than he usually has. Then, yesterday I wiggled my fingers at him. I am now the devil incarnate.

Shut him out of the living room so I could watch the Masterchef final in peace (he was being a total pain). To piss him off even more I allowed my other cat to remain in the room with me as she's an angel by comparison. I obviously paid for this decision but
it was worth it to have a glass of wine in peace and watch my programme

I have read that cats want to go to the toilet with you is because they believe that you are are vulnerable and need to be protected. It is a hangover from the natural state. 😅
