Was not quick enough with breakfast (I have the temerity to feed the dogs first). Then wasn’t quick enough with treats. Now I have shut her out of the spare room (as I’ve just made the bed, and she forgets where her litter tray is - she’s 20). My other cat, a mere baby at 14, is pissed off because I had to brush her (she’s long haired, lazy, and gets matts). I’m just rubbish basically.

Unusually, I have not upset my car so far today.

On the other hand she went to sleep on my bed with her eyes open and completely stock still. I came in and thought she had died. Thankfully she hadn’t. I cried anyway.

Also I didn’t rub his belly for long enough

Groomed him. Allowed it to rain this morning.

My cat's current displeasure has caused her own misfortune.

We had roast chicken on Sunday, and at lunchtime I broke up the carcass and have been simmering it slowly all afternoon to make stock. This has naturally caused the aroma of chicken to drift throughout the entire house. It has now been turned off and as soon as it is cool enough I will go over it and pick some chicken off for the cats. Half an hour ago they were given their usual cat food for tea. Turned their noses up something chronic and one has gone out in disgust.

Just now I went into the kitchen to make a cup of tea and girlcat followed me in there, miaowing her head off and thinking she was going to strike lucky this time. I ignored her.

So she decided to jump up onto the worktop right by the sink, lost her balance and fell head first into the washing-up bowl.

Ever so slightly adjusted the position of the lap I was providing to her, necessitating her usual over reaction of biting my arm then galloping to the other side of the house at approximately 1000mph

didn’t open back door promptly enough, almost causing her to have to use the cat flap installed, for her convenience, in said door.

failed to notify her that it was raining, nor rectify said precipitation issue.

didnt know, based on her silent (but sadly unseen) glaring at the door, that she immediately wanted letting back in, causing her to actually have to use the cat flap, like a peasant.

tricked her into thinking she was getting tuna by standing nearish to the ‘tuna cupboard’. Then not giving her tuna.

she is a poor cat.

My old cat, Charlie, could have been an Olympic sulked. If he was mad with me he would sit in front of me with his back to me.

One day gad some friends round,he spent about 10 min finding the only place in the room he could turn his back to us all.

Of course we all laughed, which he wasn't impressed with.

Was late with her second breakfast.
Wouldn't let her sit on a pile of work related items that really didn't need to be covered in tortie fur.
Wouldn't let her sit on her second choice of locations (me) while I attempted to remove torie fur from aforementioned work items.
Told her she'd already had two breakfasts when she demanded a third.

She's 19 though, so she gets away with most things!

My cat absolutely hates me singing to him!

I hoovered with the scary Shark hoover with headlights. I also carried an empty black plastic bin bag through the living room.

I ate a banana in front of her 😔

Kloppy decided last night he was going to stay indoors with me at bedtime. He usually gets shunted out of the door but last night there was no budging him and he joined me on the bed under the air conditioning 🥶

We had lovely purry cuddles but then he draped himself across me causing a huge menopausal hot flush 🥵 This cat weighs 6kg 😵 I couldn't shift him so could only weakly reach for the remote control and turn down the AC temperature 😕

The twat then woke me up at 4.35am demanding breakfast - he promptly got ejected via the bedroom window (I live in a ground floor apartment btw 😂)

Found fleas and kicked him out

I didn’t stroke her enough so she bit me.

I stroked him too much so he bit me.

Failed to dispense an endless stream of dreamies.
Rain happened this evening which is obviously my fault.
Closed the blind in my office this morning because I could barely see my screen but this caused the square of sun on the floor to disappear. Cat was snoozing in said square of sun.

I end up having to do similar most nights for mine, she is an absolute pain to get back in 🙄😂

Why do cats not use their cats flaps? My girl cat demands to be let out of the patio doors with loud insistent miows. She is approximately 60cms away from her cat flap which we paid to have installed in the double glazing. She will be let out but will come back in via the flap and the whole cycle starts again. This only happens in the evening once we have sat down to watch TV!

It's definitely a thing, isn't it. Mine miaows next to hers at 3am. I can't ignore her because neighbours. And she howls like a banshee if ignored.

I took mine to the vets yesterday for her boosters. She stayed like this all evening with her favourite toy rather than sit with me on the sofa as usual…
