No more dodgy poos & Kitty seems ok in herself but she’s been sick three times this morning. Once is normal, especially after gobbling too much cat grass, three isn’t. If anything else happens today I’m going to take her for a check up.

Poor Kitty. Hope it's just a temporary upset stomach.

She was asleep under the duvet when I got back from the shops just now, which is normal, and hadn’t thrown up on the sheet so that’s a good sign.

Terrible news.
Linney has just been run over and killed.
I'm holding him.
A friend is taking me to the vet's so he can be cremated.

It was instantaneous.

It's not much help but it doesn't sound as if he suffered at all. Our thoughts are with you.

Yes, he really did.

When I was sitting holding his body, I can't remember if Gizmo came over.
I think he did.
But I was crying so much I'm just not sure. Not that it matters, I suppose.

DD2 came with me to the vet's. Our dear, kind vet knew Linney very well, because she'd seen him every four weeks for his Solensia.
She was upset and so were the nurses and receptionist.

OMG this has been such a shock.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne Poor Gizmo, he must wonder what's happened. He will be a great comfort to you I'm sure x

I hope Gizmo won't be too lonely. It will be strange for him - Linney has always been there, in his second home.

Completely not the point, but I hope the driver stopped. If they didn't and especially if they were going over the speed limit, well, I hope they get squished by a combine harvester.

The driver was very upset and so was his sister. He had wrapped Linney in his jacket and kept saying sorry.

He wasn't going fast because it happened in our sheltered housing complex. The driver has animals himself so he understood how devastating it was for me.

At least he did actually stop. He told me that he would have taken Linney to the vet's himself if he hadn't found me.

The sister has just been round with a bunch of flowers for me.
