......... and try to break into the film industry.

It'll be an unlikely success as they'll have to stay awake for long periods while filming goes on.

Well. Unless they decide to make Carry On Sleeping.

Was there a cat on the broom?

Pudmyboy · 10/03/2026 21:53

Of course, the cat was the first animal, actually came with the witch, so obviously there must be a cat in the picture to complete the very splendid outfit!

EmpressaurusKitty · 11/03/2026 07:40

Kitty may as well have been on a broom last night. I’m fairly sure she was high (in more than one sense) after playing with her mouse.

She almost flew up to her cabin, whacked the ceiling a few times & I thought she was going to try walking the curtain rail, but fortunately she changed her mind, waved her paws in the air for a bit & then just sat there blinking at me.

I sprinkled some catnip on the floor for Agatha the other day. She rolled around in it, chirping, then had zoomies for a few minutes, before "hiding" (i.e. sitting in the middle of the floor) and swiped at my legs every time I walked to or from the kitchen. She has several Molly's Mouse toys scattered around which she does play with regularly, and she's eating all the new season growth on the cat mint outside. I think I have a totally addicted 'nip head!

Kitty manifests them via her Ouija board. In the real world, is it ok if I PM you once I get home, @Pixiedust1234?

Sorry I've just seen this. The Stray says yes please.

That is an awesome picture Broon!

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 11/03/2026 21:34

DS1 arrived yesterday.
Gizmo was very pleased to see him.

So proper catting

She's so beautiful @Breadcat24

Frankie has been dutifully looking after me today whilst I've had side effects from my new medication.

@stormsandsunshine what a great picture

stormsandsunshine · 12/03/2026 22:45

@Breadcat24it’s very rare to get them both looking at the camera while close enough to both be in shot.

Herbie is at last showing musical tendencies.
As well as my acoustic piano, we have an electric one which DS likes to link up to the computer and do techy stuff.
Last night when I was watching a programme on catch-up, he decided to settle there for the first time ever!

@Breadcat24, lovely pictures of Micia. How long have you had her now? So glad she is grooming herself and beginning to set house rules!

Pianoaholic · 13/03/2026 08:39

Micia has such beautiful green eyes.
Lovely to hear how well she's getting on.

Stripey has now nailed her high-five trick to the point where if I try to give Snowcat a treat she will shove her out of the way to high-five me so she can get it instead.

I was planning to see if I can teach her another trick, but DD2 has hidden the clicker somewhere round the house, so the next trick is going to have to be 'find the clicker'.

Evening all. Apologies for the radio silence. Things have been really tricky with Benny. After getting him home, he used the litter tray for a wee and ate little bits but no poo. I booked him into my vets for his check but ended up taking him a day early, last Thursday because he hadn't done a wee. They were happy with the size of his bladder and happy to let him go home, where he definitely did a big wee. Things have been harder since and we've been backwards and forwards to the vet, to the point I can't remember what happened and when. He was given an enema a couple of days ago as he still hadn't had a poo since the accident. The enema took forever to work but he did eventually poo at home, but then seemed incredibly uncomfortable and unhappy. Last night we took him to the vets where he had a high temperature. Was given injections of antibiotics and painkiller and brought him home with instructions to take him back this morning. He hid away at home and wouldn't touch food. Took him back this morning and he still had a high temp and was becoming dehydrated so they admitted him for the day for iv fluids, antibiotics and strong painkillers. I collected him at 6 and his temp was down but not enough and he hadn't eaten, drunk or used the litter tray. Brought him home for the night and have to go back again in the morning to be checked and potentially repeat what they did today. Thankfully he went straight to eat when we got home, lapping up gravy from the wet food, and he's since had some roast chicken bits. Fingers crossed he does well overnight and doesn't need to stay in again. It's been so awful and I'm so grateful for insurance.
