FC2 is extremely difficult to photograph, because he immediately tries to stand on his head or pushes his face into your hand, which I think is code for, "why are you holding that silly thing in your hand instead of using your hand to stroke me?"

DD is desperate for us to take the "poor sick kitty" or the two rambunctious tuxedo boys as the next inmates. She is, naturally, uninterested in the placid happy tabby cat who is not reputed to exhibit any challenging behaviour.

Last night I had a battle of wills with the cats.

They declined to eat their final pouch of delicious cat food, and I declined to serve an alternative to them.

This meant that their tanks were running on EMPTY when I went to bed.

I should have known better.
I should have known that they'd keep jumping on top of me, crazed with hunger, until 4 am.

Argh why did I try to WIN? I lost in the end. I lost five hours of sleep while Linney walked on my head and Gizmo had sex incessantly with my duvet.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne Currently Micia as an ex stray will eat absolutely anything. Rescue advised me to keep her on Felix original which looks horrible. I an sneaking in roast chicken and sheba and bits. How long before you think I will create a picky food cat?

😂 It's fairy lights wrapped round the bannister, not cable ties, although in this house I've had worse over the years. There was a period of a few months when I had no upstairs spindles or bannister. It made late night bathroom trips a bit fraught 😁
