She’s gone for her second stage dental. The plan is to take all her teeth out. As long as they don’t cause trauma getting them out. I think they are bothering her. So fingers crossed she feels better.

I love that FB post. She’s a star

Toddlerteaplease · 26/11/2025 16:43

The cattery assistant had seen the post, which is odd as she doesn’t follow them and the cattery is miles away from the vets! She let the cattery lady give her a cuddle without looking too martyred!

They sent me this pic. She looks much more relaxed than usual
there.

She looks very bright, she must be feeling better.

tinyspiny · 26/11/2025 20:25

She looks great

Toddlerteaplease · 26/11/2025 22:40

She’s back to her normal self. If she wasn’t I’d not have put her in the cattery. I’m surprised how confident she looks. She usually looks martyred in all the photos they take of her. And she used to hide in her bed most of the time.

After the last few weeks she's had, being able to eat a lot more comfortably will make her much more happy & relaxed.

And anyway, cattery is a piece of piss compared to dental surgery!

What a good puss she is ❤️ 🐾

Breadcat24 · 27/11/2025 12:56

Glad to hear she has come through this- what a star. Hopefully this is the end of medical dramas for her

Toddlerteaplease · 27/11/2025 15:32

I do hope so! We’ve managed 6 months away from
the vets in the two years I’ve had her.

I love Persians but not sure I can cope with poorly rescues again. Although Cheddar, Pads and Dottie were all ok.

I can’t believe the difference in her ladyship. She just seems brighter, somehow. More inquisitive, vocal and even more affectionate than she was before. I wonder if her teeth have always caused her discomfort. She was socialising with visitors to the cattery instead of hiding. Her breath is a bit pongy again. But will keep an eye on her.

Great news.

AlwaysRightISwear · 04/12/2025 19:31

Yes, I think she must be feeling much comfier without the teeth. Poor little girl.

Toddlerteaplease · 04/12/2025 22:23

I know I keep saying it but I just can’t believe the difference in her! She was getting ready to jump on the kitchen units to demand treats and was climbing around the bath while I was cleaning my teeth this evening! Was also very intrested in my dinner.

It really sounds like she’s recovered well
