She’s gone for her second stage dental. The plan is to take all her teeth out. As long as they don’t cause trauma getting them out. I think they are bothering her. So fingers crossed she feels better.

Ah I wonder if it's very bruised or something like that?

@umberpigeon she really does look very unphased! 😄She is very beautiful!

Toddlerteaplease · 18/11/2025 17:29

Me Being on nights has not helped but glad we didn’t do it next week as she would not be going to the cattery.

Has she eaten anything yet @Toddlerteaplease ? Our Siamese loves TV .

Toddlerteaplease · 18/11/2025 18:21

No, she’s not eaten. But she’s much more her usual self. She’s sitting next to me purring away as she does. And wanted her chest tickling. She’s not quite as ‘mouthy’ as she was yesterday. And was talking a little bit.

Oo think she’s trying to eat now. Don’t want to move or make a sound and put her off!

Get well soon, lovely Penelope x

Toddlerteaplease · 18/11/2025 18:51

She was trying but she sneezes every time she puts her head down. I’ve raised her bowls.

Keep updating, Toddler. Xxo

Toddlerteaplease · 18/11/2025 19:44

I’m on nights again. The camera is focused on the food bowls! I’m reassured that she’s more her usual self. But the lack of intake is a concern.

Besides the point but - she has a favourite carrier?! Hope she’s feeling better

Toddlerteaplease · 18/11/2025 23:12

I bought a hideously expensive isofix carrier for trips to my mum and dads. As it’s a long drone on the motorway. She loves the carrier and gets in it voluntarily. 🤣

not so keen on her regular one though!

Is she drinking?

Toddlerteaplease · 19/11/2025 03:11

Not sure. Her water bowls are quite big. She does t look dehydrated though.

As A last resort I left a few biscuits out for her. As I don’t think she chews them. I think she may have had some of them. 🤞🏼🤞🏼tricky to tell, as I can’t see what’s left in the bowl.

AlwaysRightISwear · 19/11/2025 07:09

I hope she has a better day today and starts eating again. Not drinking would be more of a problem obviously

Toddlerteaplease · 19/11/2025 07:53

I don’t think she’s eaten at all. But she’s had a reasonable sized wee. She’s found her voice again. She looks like bagpuss!

Breadcat24 · 19/11/2025 11:34

Get well soon Penelope. Maybe she would try some soft steamed fish?

Toddlerteaplease · 19/11/2025 12:14

@Breadcat24her favourite food is Thrive salmon and tuna and she can’t even eat that. She wants to eat but something is stopping her.

Her mouth must just feel wrong. Poor Penelope.

Toddlerteaplease · 19/11/2025 13:27

Waiting to see the vet. She made her displeasure at being captured very clear!

MiGataCalico · 19/11/2025 13:28

Warming her food up a little might make it more tempting and also more comfortable to eat.
