Well, the boys among them are making plans.

The lady cats are having a spa fortnight in Italy.

Bills for flights, accommodation, food, booze, medical insurance and legal fees (not to mention a fund for bribing officials at Ljubljana Prison) are allegedly being sent to an unmonitored email address.

Stripeycat has the most intense eye contact of any cat I’ve ever met. Also she is so alert all the time that I barely have any photos of her without wide open eyes. Snowcat has the eerie/beautiful pale blue eye thing going on and mainly likes staring at walls in a creepy way.

Both of them follow me around the house in order to stare at me accusingly.

Oh wow Jace, his eyes are so different! I had always assumed his eyes were blue. I guess because my mom had a Russian Blue when I was growing up who had the bluest eyes and I just assumed they were too ☺️

I'm supposed to be going out shortly...

Kitty’s so gentle, though. I get the stares, & occasionally a shout if she wants my attention, but she’s never once hissed, bitten or scratched.

(If you don’t count the times when she’s hunting my feet under the duvet - and that’s not happened for quite a while).

Matilda had a bit of a stressful evening yesterday. She only ate half of her gabapentin laced food before she had a blood test at the vets. I had the vet nurse come out and fetch me because they'd managed to get her back in her carrier, but they couldn't get the door back on because she was swiping at them. Managed to sort her out and get her home, but she must have smelt strongly of vet because Boris uncharacteristically spent the evening hissing at her. She didn't come and join me in bed last night like she usually does, but she has been stomping all over my laptop and pestering me for fuss, so I think I'm forgiven.

Tobias won't touch food with Gabapentin in, however small the amount. I have to crush the tablets then dip a bit of sliced cooked chicken in so a FEW grains adhere. Then offer this to him piece by piece from my fingers.

0He tends to try leaing some, dropping it on the floor, but eventually goes back after a while as sliced chicken is just about the most irresistable thing in the world to him - yes, better than ham even!

Oh I think he might like that- he, Kettle and Benny the 3 gingers!

That sounds extremely difficult, I admire your persistence. I should have gone with tuna, since it worked the first time. I used the pate stuff because I'd been using it to hide her antibiotics after grinding them up with the pestle and mortar. I think maybe I bought a different flavour or she could have just been being a contrary beast. The things we do for our cats. At least no vet staff ended up bleeding this time!

Now Herbie has stolen another place on the sofa, only trouble is that it's MY place, ideally situated to see the tv best!
I've moved him off it once already. I think he must be in league with Gizmo

I think Kettle might be staying at home to look after @Esgaroth, so Grumpy’s NMC would be the third ginger.
