The lady cats are having a spa fortnight in Italy.

Bills for flights, accommodation, food, booze, medical insurance and legal fees (not to mention a fund for bribing officials at Ljubljana Prison) are allegedly being sent to an unmonitored email address.

DD2's flat is lovely, but it hasn't got a freezer for some reason - just a little icebox at the top of the fridge. I expect the previous tenants took theirs with them when they left.

Pa Broon and I said we'd buy her a freezer, and asked her to send a link for the one she likes.

Would we be unreasonable to tell DD2 to eff off, after receiving this image?

I do purchasing for the local council for a team who helps Care Leavers integrate into the real world once they reach 18. They are given a set amount each for when they get their first proper home. It's explained to them by their advisers how much it is, and that it has to cover everything e.g. bed/bedding, other furniture, kitchen equipment, TV etc and is only for essentials. You would be surprised just how many think £800 upwards is reasonable for a TV, that £1200 is OK for a sofa, or that £500 is a good price for a standard fridge.

They are told pretty early on a) how much they have in total, b) what type of things it's available for and c) ball park amount they should be looking at for spending on various items. We can give them a voucher for the store, actually buy it for them, or reimburse them on presentation of receipts. They get VERY upset when we say no, we will only reimburse you the guide amount and NOT the £1k you spent on a fridge freezer despite the guide being in the region of £300.

Give her a budget & get her to choose within that from Argos?

To be honest I'm amazed that it took them this long. Sad about the lack of cat pictures, hope they can get it secured quickly and get back to normal.

Wow, apparently this happened late last night (thank God I wasn't on then) and they only disabled photos this afternoon??

I will miss cat pics but honestly I'd expect to see much more decisive action when people are committing vile crimes on your website.
