What perfectly ordinary places have you found your cat?

I’ve just spent 30 minutes searching my entire house for one of my cats, even looking in the bedrooms that have doors closed and couldn’t find him anywhere.

And then I found him here, in the little house on the cat tree 🤦🏼‍♀️

Two places yesterday

Hiding in plain sight, versus hiding from the bad, bad hoover.

I found mine on the top of a very tall chest of drawers, I'd been searching for an hour for her!

Black cat curled up on a black rug. I found it by kicking it 😬

In a lidl bag. The sock drawer. In the laundry basket. In the hall cupboard amonst coats and shoes. Our cat is a firm advocate for "If I fits, I sits" 😂

On top of the bookcase I will find a pic

I usually go to grab the black t shirt and end up apologising to a very indignant cat with his face being "I am CAT not t shirt"

In the new teepee.. And making sure he warmed both sides equally on my kitchen table next to the radiator!! !

Curled up inside the microwave, when someone accidentally left the door open. Sadly no photo, as he jumped out when I shrieked!

She likes to feel secure😂

As you can see this guy is a very similar colour to our sofas. I've lost count as to the amount of times people have sat on him

He looks a bit fed up with being sat on in that picture, he's very handsome though, being sat on hasn't affected his good looks😻

Bit like that story in Winnie the Witch when she kept tripping over Wilbert because when he closed his eyes she couldn’t see him in black house. Anyone remember that? I’m probably showing my age!

In the hedge, I suspect trying to catch the poor birdies! Or maybe just having a snooze…..

Sadly no photos. But all three of my cats love to open my wardrobe door and go and sleep in there. I really don't understand it! It is a hard surface for a start!

There is a tiny gap between my daughter’s bed and the trundle bed underneath. You wouldn’t think you could get a cat in there, but behold…

I honestly thought she’d got lost until I spotted the bump.

I once found him stretched out on the kitchen floor. He was the exact same colour as the ginger-blond floorboards and I almost trod on him until he rolled over and purred.
