What perfectly ordinary places have you found your cat?

I’ve just spent 30 minutes searching my entire house for one of my cats, even looking in the bedrooms that have doors closed and couldn’t find him anywhere.

And then I found him here, in the little house on the cat tree 🤦🏼‍♀️

I can't tell you the amount of times I've gone to open the curtains in the morning and both me and Hidden Cat on window sill have jumped out our skin 😂

One of mine is currently sprawled across my bed next to 1 year old who is also sprawled across the bed!
She's giving me the evil eye and tail twitch as I think she knows I'm about to evict her out the bedroom!

My tuxedo boy is a fridge dweller, but he also loves sitting in any boxes he can find , this photo always makes me laugh

Couldn't find the bookcase one but this is my meter cupboard I sometimes store cat food in it and he managed to get in and hoover up a few scraps

1. Under floor after inspection hatch was opened. It was the strange underfloor miaowing gave him away.
2. On the flat roof of the extension. But not until the ladder had been put away on the high rafters in the garage.

We once had a cat hide in our house for 3 days. Not our cat. It was in the shoe rack

One of our kittens loves a drawer.

Not on top of the frame, on top of the actual door. Shed climbed up a coat, hanging over it at the time, and was precariously walking along the top, wondering how to get down.

Aw, what a gorgeous cat. We had a cat years ago who used to like sleeping in the sink. We’d have to take her out to use it and then she would lick the water drips left in the sink before going back to sleep in it.

Our girl cat is currently hiding in the Christmas tree.

Our boy cat sits on the robot vacuum and even stays when we put it on.

Ours always hides in high places, I’m sure she’s half mountain goat. Usually found on the top of the boiler cupboard. God knows how she gets up there, it’s a standalone tall cupboard like a tall wardrobe.

We used to have a large decorative wicker basket on the top of the fridge- one day we couldn't find our cat anywhere and then she suddenly peaked out of the basket- so we just put a nice plumped pillow in there for her and since then its her favourite spot to have a nap and hide from kids a general house chaos.😹

Not mine, but a while ago I was out with a friend and stayed overnight at her house. Her cat is quite nervous and tends to hide when she has company, so having caught a glimpse when I got there, I didn't see any more of the cat and assumed it was behind the sofa.
When I went to bed, I found the cat. Curled up between the top sheet and the duvet, and very condescending towards me wanting to get properly under the covers!

The tree comes with fluffy pillows which the cats love to sleep on once they’re out of the tree baskets. Refuse to go near the tree when the fluffy pillows are in the tree. All the cats love the tree once the pillows are gone.

Oh some beautiful cats ❤️
