As we approach the festive season, they're already finessing their plans and recalling last year's successes............

I'm sorry, that must be disappointing after you have made so much effort to treat her. I'm sure she very much appreciates all you have done for her, even if she was a bit unsure about the kidneys. I have fond memories of Boris and Matilda's first Christmas with me when they were still kittens and I bought them a package of jingly mice which they were so excited to play with.

We tried the tuna! Same result. She ate a bit & left the rest, and I didn’t put much in her bowl.

She’d better never go off her dry food or things are going to be complicated.

@EmpressaurusKitty ours are not keen on tuna but never refuse a slice of roast turkey from the deli counter - not the prepacked kind sadly! At least you wouldn't have to cook any meat then

Fred and I have been having a duvet day as I'm not feeling well. He's so lovely to cuddle with, he doesn't wriggle or demand attention like some of the others do. He just curls up next to me and purrs.

It's clear that there is an ecological niche in grumpy's garden/outside his back door for an invasive thug cat. Any relocation of the ginger one will simply result in another thug cat appearing in its place.

It's the cat distribution system. Either that or Grumpy is enticing cats to the house.

Ha - maybe Grumpy is an unreliable narrator, claiming to be surprised by his feline visitors while secretly luring them with sardines.

I'm not sure if Raven is hoping to become a chicken or pretending to be in a manger.
