I had one pair of kittens who knocked our 8' tree down, but I've been lucky since. My current pair never tried. But what's with cats eating tinsel?

I don't get a Christmas tree, I don't think it would survive the tribe.

Oo I can't wait to see how Kettle reacts to a Christmas tree. I suspect that unless it's made of chicken he may not be at all interested.

He climbed a small outside tree yesterday but the bird had been gone for a good minute. Here he is pretending that he just fancied a sit in the tree and hunting couldn't have been further from his mind.

Toad had his first Christmas Lick-e-lix today. Turkey and Cranberry flavour. He seemed to be a fan although wasn't impressed when Raven came in and demanded to share it with him.

Hmm, do cats like cranberries?

We're planning to have a ham this year and I think Kettle is going to go absolutely mental. Of course he'll have a little, though not too much as I suppose it's quite salty.

I keep seeing cat and dog advent calendars in the shops and I don't think I've quite reached that level yet but maybe next year 😆

I’m away for a couple of days over Christmas so Kitty can have her Christmas lunch & presents when I get back.

Her wonderful cat sitter is coming in twice each on Christmas Day & Boxing Day, so Kitty’s got her cat a Christmas stocking.

I might be going a bit daft though because this is the nice wool blanket I had decided wasn't for cats... he was just supposed to have the fleece ones. But it was a bit chilly today so what could I do?

According to Toad and Raven, yes cats do like cranberries but only with their turkey!

I love that you thought you'd have a blanket that wasn't for Kettle. All blankets are for the cats. They then may choose to share.

I've had cats for 19 years and I still buy things mistakenly thinking they are for me. The other consistent mistake I make is buying beds and toys for the cats in the vain hope that this will be the one that they actually love.

No new baby granddaughter yet. It’s progressing very slowly. Well, not really progressing at all, to be accurate. Have a feeling it will be a c-section which is not ideal with a 19-month-old too in a second floor flat with no lift. My back is killing from
heaving her up and down the stairs, and this is the third night running the cats have been left home alone.

I love Kettle and I most definitely covet your his blanket! (Well, and Kettle as well I suppose! 😁)
