So last Christmas, you all convinced me I needed a heated blanket. Been a hugely successful Christmas present. Loved especially by DS.
Been trying to get Boone to sleep on it for a year as knew would help his arthritis. The bag it came in was a raging success but not the blanket. Until today.
Finally success!!

My new additions have just arrived and are hiding under the sofa!!

Black and white is a boy and tortie girl, they're about 4 months. Not 100% on names yet, the boy will probably be called Roy after a deer friend who died a few years ago, not sure on girl! Harriet and Hilda are in the mix!

I'm very sorry to announce that Shell has been banned from MN for the foreseeable future.
She has asked me to let everyone know that the little cat that went missing in her village nearly a month ago (Wien) came back through her cat flap at 3.30 a.m. last night.

But Shell can't be banned! She is our friend. I do love how straight talking she can be on some threads started by idiots. Presumably that has led to the ban.

right. It is already fabulous. She is my very first fluffy cat and I am very excited about how gorgeous she is going to be.
Cannot express how disappointed I am that Shell is banned. Good Lord. I saw the post that got her banned for a week and was baffled that it caused a problem. You see people posting really unpleasant comments with gay abandon, but someone gives Shell 3 strikes?

We're off to Germany this evening - long weekend staying with Gizmo's (ex) dad.
I shall of course look out for and report on any German NMCs but without Shell's gentle banter it won't be the same 🤣.
Sitting at Heathrow - flight is already delayed by an hour and it looks as if our plane is still on the ground in Germany. Not a good start...
