As we approach the festive season, they're already finessing their plans and recalling last year's successes............

I can only imagine the chaos of three kittens at a time, or maybe the extra one doesn't make that much difference? I jumped straight in at the deep end of cat ownership by adopting Boris and Matilda as kittens, having never had a cat before. It was a bit of a learning curve.

Origami cat is a good name. I was wondering how it had managed to get itself into that position.

Frankie and Fred are napping after enjoying some turkey and cranberry Lick-e-lix. Toad has ended up with it on his head and somehow between his shoulder blades so Vixie is busy cleaning him 🤣

Cat malfunction
I got a new phone so I have been annoying Breadcat taking her picture.
In addition to a very annoyed cat you will see in this picture a box that she refuses to have anything to do with and a rejected heated throw!

Girlcat somehow managed to remove the mouse from the radiator & ran off with it. Pretty sure it's still around and alive, as she's fixating on a different place in the kitchen now.

If Girlcat was lying like Shady is in that pic, and looking at me like that, it would mean "why haven't you started the belly rubs yet? I've been here all of 12 seconds".

Scene of domestic contentment chez Allergic attached (yes the radiator was on at the time). Had to slightly rearrange furniture to ensure I could get 2 hammocks fully heated.

Oh Allergic. Those two look so happy together.

DD2's cat Sebastian has started sleeping in the cat house which I gave her, after Linney and Gizmo completely ignored it.

@Allergictoironing definitely shady! He is obsessed with belly rubs and I often get a gentle slap if I stop too soon

@Allergictoironing It's lovely that Tobias and girl cat get along so well and have his and hers radiators beds.

@JaceLancs That's an impressive selection of Christmas Lego. I've only got into Lego the past few years. I currently have the tiny plants and Van Gogh Lego sets to finish, but I'm eyeing up the botanic gardens, natural history museum and milky way sets. I'm spending a fortune on building works and unexpected chimney removal at the moment, so I'm resisting treating myself for Christmas. Boris and Matilda like to help (wonder around pushing Lego pieces off the table).

I've melted Frankenstein again 😬 I have never seen him as relaxed and content as he's been in the last week. It's quite heartwarming (well, all over warming with his bloody blanket on!)

@JaceLancs love your Christmas lego! I have a lego Christmas tree which I need to get out. This is my main lego display which is all Harry Potter. Then the smaller display which includes the tuxedo cat (I mistake it for Walter several times a day). I have loads of botanicals too, but between Benny and my 5yo they destroyed them, so they're all in a bag waiting to be rebuilt.
