Obviously prefer sleeping in a dip with heads up in case they miss something 🐱

I returned from the afternoon tea club today to find out various interesting things.

I took some cakes to my neighbour, who is getting a bit frail, to be informed that "Bonzo" (she meant Gizmo, naturally) had just left her house, having had a nap on her sofa.

I then encountered Picard, sitting outside my house.

....... and Suzy, sitting on the windowsill.

Linney was asleep inside the house.

It's like Piccadilly Circus Catcus round your way Shell. 😄

Frankfurter has managed to take advantage of the heated blanket today as the big cats weren't around. He is sleeping in a very uncomfortable looking position though, like he's being a possum and playing dead. Funny little weirdo.

Wednesday was enjoying sitting on the radiator warming her bum. Then she stood up and flicked her flooofy tail and caught it in the candle I had burning 🤣🤣 my whole house smells of burnt cat 🤢

She's so stupid she jumped back up onto the radiator straight afterwards 🤣🤣

She's fine just has melted hair on her tail.

Bonzo 😹 - great cat name even if it does make me think of this dog...

reminds me of 1970s power cuts when I was playing dress up in my mum's fur hat and leant into a candle

For some reason Frankfurter reminds me of old images of drunken men asleep in the gutters on a Saturday night. It must be very uncomfortable even for a cat.

Toad says he is a starving orphan with a cruel slave who roasted a whole chicken and only let him have a few pieces. He chooses to forget about the copious amounts of ham and sliced chicken that he has had today.

Finlay has been given a clean bill of health today by the vet - who told him that as adorable as he is they don’t want to see him again until he’s due for vaccinations
I felt awful having to lock him in to ensure that we managed to get to the vets - although he appears to have forgiven me now and is back to usual Lego helping position
Has anyone else noticed a reduced appetite and more sleeping/staying in due to the icy weather?

My lot are definitely doing less and eating less. Well, with the exception of Toad and Lexter when they smell chicken!

My sister & I bought our dad a John Lewis heated throw for Christmas last year.

He unpacked it for the first time last week & is now telling me how great it is.

@Breadcat24 even if you don't appreciate it, I am sure a certain someone in the house will. I put off getting one for ages, but I am so glad I have them now. I have barely had the heating on this winter as between the blanket, fleece jumpers, and the beasts, I am bloomin boiling most evenings!

Hahah I love that photo @RumNotRun ! That blanket isn’t yours anymore - it’s Frankfurters now! My cat Bella sometimes sleeps with her mouth open next to the fire - she looks like she’s been stuffed! Both front legs are raised off the ground on this too!
