Poor NMS (Not My Stray), she's got a home but no name!

She is now officially ours/DD as she's been microchipped so we are kinda stuck with madam. Our main problem is that she only responds to her new name with DD although she does comes running if I call out pusspuss or kitty much to DDs rage 😂

Weirdly enough she is the only one that I never named. We had NewKid (ontheblock), Spotty, Buddy, this one and now another possible stray loitering, Smudge, even the obviously homed ones get a nickname.

EDIT - she's very good at doing the Weeping Angel thing. Pretty sure she's got a teleporter somewhere on her.

Finlay is loving my woolly throw tonight which is a bit awkward as I need to make something to eat

Loads of sofas, chairs and beds around but no better place to relax than on DS' school bag (which DS put down for him on purpose 'because he loves it'). So that'll be covered in white hairs now.

Excuse the cardboard all over the floor - we finally bought some more furniture and everyone under the age of 10 has been having a lovely time with the packaging 📦

Lexter says hi to everyone. He has been making lots of bread on the blanket tonight. There's enough for everyone including Grumpy's new NMC.

Sourdough? I make a batch of rolls every couple of weeks. Kitty was making bread last night too.

Actually, it was a plain white loaf.

DD2 has asked for a bread maker for Christmas. It arrived at our house yesterday, and Mr SB remarked that I never make bread anymore.

So I did. It was wonderful.

(BTW I didn't make it in DD2's new bread maker)

I love homemade bread. I use a bread machine though as I hate getting the dough all over my hands.

Oh, so do I. I bought my own 🍞 bread maker just before Covid, which was very handy.
I got out of the habit of making bread about a year ago. I am going to get back into it now.

I just meant that yesterday, I hadn't unpacked DD's new one, to make a loaf.

As I was getting ready for bed, I discovered that Guillermo had thrown up in his donut, and on our bedroom carpet.

Mr SB was already in bed, pretending that he hadn't heard or seen it.

Leanora pinched Wedgwood's favourite chair because it's in the sun...... he's squashed himself on, at the moment all is calm 🐱

Why on why do they throw up usually where we tread 🤔

Gizmo once threw up into his litter tray, which was impressive.
But he hasn't repeated that performance since then.

I'm looking forward to the update, when they get annoyed with each other.

Speaking of loaves, we had rather a fine example this morning 😄
