I spent ages last night trying to think of this thread title.

🤣🤣🤣

Thank you @HumanToCatBeasties and @Esgaroth - I wish he could tell me how he is feeling - maybe he’s just tired with all the roaming, not impressed with the thick marsh fog outside and bored with the food choices! Better to seek a professional opinion though

Esgaroth · 14/11/2024 23:27

Got up to go to bed. This is Kettle glaring at me next to the room he's fed in to communicate his ravening hunger and desperate need for another dinner.

When we first got him I thought he was a grazer as he often didn't finish his wet food before it had to be taken away and would still have his dry left to snack on in the night time.

I later realised he was just unsettled from the new environment because he now gobbles everything up right away and lives in eternal hope of extra meals. We should have named him Pippin because he'd love a second breakfast.

Exciting news from the vet: Cat Four is female! Explains why Cat One likes her, and Cat Two doesn’t.

Wow!

Kettles glare is brilliant but I am in love with cat four.
These threads are brilliant. All the beautiful cats including gizmo and the grumpies. Picard linney shady paws, all of Rums and Finlay, Benny.
Everyone of them actually.

Wickedstitch · 15/11/2024 06:12

Can you tell I really need another cat or three after my beautiful tuxedo died.
Miss him so much.

EmpressaurusDeiGatti · 15/11/2024 07:18

I’m so sorry, @Wickedstitch. Would it help to tell us about him?

Hi. Tell us about your cat.
Also, when you're ready, do adopt another one. It helps a bit. Just a tiny bit.

Just heard a row going on outside in the back garden.
Son of TC spotted making a rapid exit...

We're not adopting another cat from your neck of the woods, Grumpy.

So don't get any big ideas.

🤣

Absolutely decline to go to Glasgow Central to collect another cat.

I am not risking another fall in the car park, or a cat producing malodourous vomit in my car.

HTH.

There was some adjusting until everyone was comfortable.
Cat Four had an explore downstairs and likes our posh cat tree.

Grumpy, I am sorry to say I would be very happy if you had a TC the second. 😂

Breadcat24 · 15/11/2024 11:06

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats Just waiting for the picture of your ginger friend looking in through the window with you bunch looking back!

Breadcat24 · 15/11/2024 11:07

@learieonthewildmoor that is just gorgeous- are you sure you do not want to keep them all?

TheShellBeach · 15/11/2024 12:40

The calm before the storm. Just after I took this they flew at each other.

Gizmo is definitely giving the black cat the evil eye!

Is it mutual?
Hope she gives as good as she gets when they have a set-to!

Oh, she does.
She's got fangs, although one has fallen out recently.

(maybe every Halloween?!)

JaceLancs · 15/11/2024 17:10

Finlay is back in vet hospital again with bladder or kidney blockage they will need to keep him at least 3 days and may need surgery if it’s a kidney stone which is impacted - it’s a very bizarre coincidence as that’s what killed Reuben his predecessor last year - but we didn’t know what was wrong! At least this time I got him to vet hopefully early enough to sort him out - he is going to hate me if he’s caged up over Xmas again - I will update when I hear anything they are going to sedate him then catheterise before doing more tests
