Actually, I recall now that Cleo also tore the cat flap off DD's back door.

She was wearing a Cone of Shame at the time and was trying to get out.

Even with the cat flap removed, she still couldn't get through the gap.

Cleo definitely sounds like a cat to be reckoned with!

DD rescued her from Romania.
She'd been a street cat.

That's probably why she's so determined.

Cleo is a very beautiful cat, such distinctive markings! And sounds like a real character as well 😄

This evening Kettle is channeling Mog (one of our favourite children's books). He cannot believe nobody has fed him and he is starving to death.

A blast from the past. I used to have a Fat Feddy's cat t-shirt (well over 30 years ago 🤣)

I think he would if only we would fall for it. He was sitting outside the utility room winking at us and mournfully licking his lips. When I took the rinsed and empty cat food can in there to put in the recycling he jumped up as if I was about to feed him another can. Dream on, mate!

He's given up now, poor neglected animal.

Finlay was in last night for a change - ate 4 sachets of food and slept for hours - he’d been out for around 30 hours and not slept according to tracker - I’ve never had a cat like this before!

@EmpressaurusDeiGatti It took me two attempts to spot Kitty. That's a beautiful blanket, is it homemade?
@JaceLancs How exciting that you can track Finlay and see what he's been up to. Mine are house cats, so it wouldn't be very exciting. Matilda and Boris are horrified at the thought of 30 hours without a nap, but they are 10 now and I'm guessing Finlay is a lot younger.

I fear Mrs Grumpy has been transmogrified over night.

Finlay is 16 months old and after spending 3-4 months indoors and 6-8 weeks of that in a crate after an accident when he was 5 months old, there really is no stopping him!
We are quite rural so he’s usually in a field somewhere - although he loves the grounds of a local nursing home which is near to the library and health centre where he also spends a lot of time

Thank you @HumanToCatBeasties! Yes, it was a big project to use up all my leftover yarn. The sides hang down as far as the carpet & apparently make good tents 😸

When/why did we become the Excellent cats? Can anyone remember? We just had random thread titles when I came along about 100 years ago.

Well we've all clearly always had excellent cats - just took somebody to recognise it 🤣.

Very amused by Finlay's exploits - he does get about doesn't he. Does your tracker show his mileage?

It was a thread title I made up ages ago goodness knows why and I incorporate it into every thread title I start now.
